Snowflake Pop Can Card

YIppeeee!!!

I'm so excited as we are on our Christmas Break. I'm so looking forward to the next 2 weeks with my family. I can't wait to cuddle on the couch while watching our favourite Christmas show and of course you know that we will be watching lots of hockey in there also.

Last week at my Christmas Club, I wowed the girls with this amazing technique. Did you know that you can cut up a pop can and run it through the Big Shot Machine?

This is so cool...I used my craft and rubber scissors to cut the pop can apart( be careful the edges are sharp), then using the Big Shot Machine, I ran the pop can through the machine with the Snowflake #2 die.

Wow, then you get this amazing snowflake!! Once you run it through the Big Shot machine, the edges of the pop can are no longer sharp.

So start saving your favourite pop can and see all the amazing things that you can make with it!

Recipe: Real Red and Old Olive card stock, Big Shot Machine, Snowflake #2 die, Clear Rhinestone brads, Merry Many Messages stamp set and pop cans.

Mojo Monday # 117 -- Totally Tess

Hello,

I'm so excited to say that I finally had a chance to play around with my new goodies from the Occasions Mini. The new Occasions Mini will rock your socks off....it's AMAZING!! The Occasions Mini and the Sale A Bration Mini both start on January 5, 2010.

I have to say that I love the new stamp set Totally Tess. She is so much fun. She comes with a SU apron, a wheel, marker, scissors and so much more. There is so much that you can do with this stamp set and you can use her for any occasion.

On my card today, I also used the new Designer Series Paper called Sending Love. You will love this new sparkle paper!! It's gorgeous.

Recipe: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink, Sending Love DSP, Scallop #2 die, Big Shot Machine, Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Circle Cutter Plus and a variety of markers.

Wandering Words-- Christmas Week #23

Wow, one week today and it's Christmas Eve!! Are you ready?? I'm not but hoping to get some stuff done on the weekend.

I have been looking at this stamp set since the Holiday Mini came out. I finally decided it was time to order the stamp set Wandering Words...I just love Santa with the Reindeer.

The tree's are from Lovely as a Tree stamp set. I stamp one in the middle of the card stock first, then 2 on each side. Then I randomly filled each side with tree in various heights. I added some Dazzling Diamonds. I wanted it to look like fresh snow on the tree's. I used my markers to colour in Santa and the Reindeer.

Sorry the picture is so dark, I will retake it and add it in. I hope that Santa brings me a new camera for Christmas!!

Recipe: Dazzling Diamonds, Two Way Glue Pen, Lovely as a Tree stamp set, Wandering Words stamp set, Whisper White, Basic Grey and Brocade Blue card stock, Old Olive ink, Real Red and Chocolate Chip ink.

Greeting Earthlings

Hello,

I made this card awhile ago. It's a fun card as it uses the stamp set Greeting Earthlings. I coloured the alien in with a blender pen, bashful blue ink and night of navy.

I used the Texturz Plates and the Big Shot Machine to create the embossed dots on the Night of Navy.

Recipe:Greeting Earthlings stamp set, Texturz Plates, Big Shot Machine, Bashful Blue and Night of Navy ink, Bashful Blue, Whisper White and Night of Navy card stock, Nesties, and a blender pen.

MDS--Exploring Nature

Oh my gosh, do I love My Digital Studio!! This amazing software is much more then just a digital software it's a Paper-Crafting Solution. I love how you can try new things and if it's doesn't work you can delete it. My favourite part is experiment with colours, stamps sets and new techniques.

This is one of the pages that I created for my calendar. It was college of our adventure to the Mill Pond here in town. I used one of the page map templates to start off and then add my photo's. I didn't want to add too many embellishments as I wanted my focus to be on the pictures.

Sparkly and Bright Treat Boxes

I hope you had a great weekend! We sure did. It was nice and relaxing!!

These new treat boxes are so cute. They come already scored, so you just need to assemble it. They are great for giving bake goods to family, friends or even for secret Santa. You could filled them with anything!!

My tag is made using the Two Tag Die and the Big Shot Machine. The reindeer is from the Sparkly and Bright stamp set.

Holiday Lineup --- Christmas Week #22

Hello,

Well, I think we are in for a snow storm today. They have been telling us about this major storm since the beginning of the week. As I type this up (the night before) the wind is howling outside and it's cold but no snow yet!!

This is one of my favourite stamp sets for the holidays. I just love the images in Holiday Lineup. I wanted to create a card using the new Snowfall Window Sheets from the Holiday Mini. I thought it would make a great background for the snowman.

Branch Out

I can't believe that Branch Out is on the Dormant list that will retired on Jan 4, 2010. This was one of the first stamp sets that I ordered last year. I love how you can use this stamp set for any occasion and for any season.

We have some winter birthday coming up, so I thought it would be neat to make a winter card. My tree is stamped in Soft Suede ink and I added some Whisper White snowflakes.

Recipe: Kraft, Real Red and Whisper White card stock, Branch Out, Soft Suede ink, Real Red marker, Whisper White Craft Ink, Kraft ribbon, Mat Pack, and a Paper Piercer tool.
