Winter Post Card

Happy Tuesday my Friends,

Wow, 2 post in one day!! Make sure to read the post about the Holiday Extravaganza Sale before this post because you won't want to miss this great special by Stampin' Up! starting on Wednesday!!.

I have been busy like an elf preparing for my last 10-10-25 class this Thursday night. I'm really glad that I finally ordered this stamp set Winter Post. This great stamp set is part of Shelli's Signature Collection and it's beautiful!!

My inspiration for this card came from Splitcoaststampers. This is one of the cards that we will be making in the class. Once again, I used my favourite Top Note Die along with the skaters from Winter Post and the trees from Lovely as a Tree. I stamped the skaters on a separate piece of paper and cut them out. I then stamped the skaters on my Top Note die piece and masked them with my cut out. This will cover up the skaters so the you can stamp the tree's behind them. Using the Tree's in a row stamp, I stamp them in the background. I love how this turned out!!. I embossed the Season's Greetings saying with Gold Embossing Powder.

Recipe: Winter Post, Lovely as a Tree and Snow Swirled stamp sets, Always Artichoke, Brushed Gold and Whisper White card stock, Top Note die and Big Shot Machine, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Versamark and Always Artichoke classic ink.

Make sure to check out my business website tomorrow at and here for all the great specials from Stampin Up!!

I want to show you this Nugget Box that I made using the Winter Post stamp set. This stamp set is designed by our own Shelli Gardner the Cofounder of Stampin' Up! and is part of her new Shelli's Signature Collection. It's a beautiful set!!

Whew...that makes me tired just thinking about it!!

I want to show you a quick idea for your Christmas tree. I made this cute little tree ornaments using a scallop punch, Merry and Bright stamp set, ribbon and a REESE PEANUT BUTTER CUP. Yummy is all I can, how cute would these look on the tree??

Recipe: Real Red, Old Olive and Whisper White cardstock, Scallop Circle Punch,  1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches, Whisper White ribbon, Merry and Bright Stamp set, Real Red and Old Olive markers, and a Reese Peanut Butter Cup.

Enjoy the rest of your night,

What a Beautiful Snowy Day!!

While here is Southwestern Ontario, Mother Nature has decided to dump about Cm of snow in the last 3 days. The weather network is calling it a Colossal of a snowfall. I have not seen this much snow in November before but I do have to say it looks beautiful outside. It's just looks so magical as it covers the ground and tree's but I have to admit that I don't like driving in it.  I was heading into London ( we live about 15 minutes east of London) to go Christmas shopping with my mother-in-law but we have decided to wait till Monday to go instead as we are suppose to get another 5 cm of snow with snow squalls this morning.

Here are some pictures of all the snow that we have received since Thursday night, most of the snow fall happen last night. This is the view from my front porch.

Here is a view of our backyard. You can't even see the girls play house as there is so much snow around it.

We are having a Mexican Dinner with 3 of our close friends and their children tonight. We are so looking forward to it!!

If you are out driving is all this snow, please be safe!! Happy Snowy Day!!

SCS Sketch #202

Happy Friday my friends,

Last night, I was so excited to unpack an order and play with my new stamp set Winter Post. This was one of the stamp sets on my Wish List and I finally decided it was time to order it. I'm so glad that I did and can't wait to create more projects with it.

I really want to play along with some of the sketches out there in Blog Land and decided on the Splitcoaststampers Weekly Card Sketch. This is a great place to start when you are looking for templates for cards.  My goal this weekend is to try out a few more sketches and I will be showing you my projects next week!!

Here is my card for Sketch #202. This template is very simple and I love how the card turned out.
