Batty for You

Well, it's sure feels like fall around here the last few days. Good thing that I had the girls try on their fall/winter clothes last weekend. The last few days have been wet, very windy and very cold. Now that the weather turns to fall, we start to think about the upcoming holidays.

Who can resist these cute Halloween images in the Batty for you stamp set. They are so fun and the saying around them, make me laugh as they are just so cute!!!

I have to say that I prefer this Halloween colour combo of Perfect Plum, Black and Old Olive over the traditional Orange and Black.

Recipe: Whisper White, Basic Black, and Old Olive card stock, 1 3/8" circle punch and 1 1/4" circle punch, Batty for you, Old Olive ink, Perfect Plum marker, Old Olive stripped ribbon and Cast a Spell D.S.P.

Thanks for stopping by and hug the ones that you love!!

MDS---Colour Challenge Card

Good Morning,

I'm super excited to show you my project today as I created it using My Digital Studio. This AMAZING software program ROCKS!! I want to point out to you that it's a Paper Crafting Solution for all levels of scrapbookers. There is just so much that you can do with it. I'm in the process of taking the Certification program though Stampin' Up!! I have been watching videos, taking quizzes and most of all creating projects with the software.

Did you know that there are 2000 images in MDS (My Digital Studio) and never before seen stamp sets. There are tons of embellishments, punches, designer page maps and so much more. Did you know that you can make albums, cards, calendar's, movies, you can designer your own layout or use one of their page maps. Trust me you are going to want this program!!

While checking out my favourite blogs, I thought I would participate in Di's colour challenge over at Stampin' With Di. Her challenge was to make a project using Black, White, Pixie Pink (ouch) and Certainly Celery. I decided to create my card in MDS.

So what do you think?? Go easy on I'm still learning all the tricks in MDS!!!

Altered Impression Folders---Top Note

Good Morning,

I'm super excited to share my card with you today. If you enjoy surfing blogs, then I sure you have seen this technique on some blog. I first saw this cool technique on Patty Bennett's blog. She is one smart lady!!

It's called Altered Textured Impression Folder. Okay, you are thinking....what in the world are you talking about Anne??? So it's when you take a frame made from Chipboard and used it with the Textured Impression folders.

First, I used the Top Note die and ran it through my Big Shot machine with a piece of Chipboard. Then I got this super cute frame. Next, I ran it through The Big Shot Machine with the Textured Impression Folder. Wait to you see...what happens next.

You get this amazing blank Top Note area using the Textured Impression Folders. Since it's the first day of Fall, I thought it would be cool to make this card. I just love this time of year, when nature shows us her true colours!!!
