Sparkly and Bright York Patties

I hope you are having a great day!!

This is a great gift to give to coworkers, friends, family or even as secret Santa gift. Who wouldn't want to get a sleeve of yummy decorated York Patties?

The York Patties are decorated using the Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" Circle Punches. I put the York Patties between 2 scallop circles. The reindeer and Santa are from the Sparkly and Bright stamp set. The Holly Jolly is from the Christmas Punch Level 2 Hostess stamp set.

The sleeve is a plastic bookmark. I just cut off the flap and pinched it together and tied a Old Olive Ribbon around it. How fun is that???

Recipe: Real Red, Old Olive and Whisper White card stock, Scallop Circles Punch, 13/8" and 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Christmas Punches Level 2 Hostess stamp set, Sparkly and Bright stamp set. Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive markers, York Patties, and Bookmark Sleeve.

Thanks for stopping by,

Happy Friday,

Yeah, it's the weekend! I'm hoping to do some more Christmas shopping and we might even put up our Christmas Decorations. I can't wait to decorate our house for the festival season.

A while ago, my friend Heather had a fundraiser for GI Cancer. All the proceeds she made that day was donate in her father's memory. I couldn't attend that day, so I purchase a kit from her. This was one of the cards in the kit.

It uses the Sparkly and Bright stamp set along with the Christmas Cocoa Designer Series Paper. I have to say that I love using Soft Suede this year for my Christmas cards. I love how it coordinates with Chocolate Chip and Real Red so nicely.

I added Champagne Shimmery Paint dots to my snowflake by dipping my stylus into my paint and then onto my card.

My Favourite Things

Good Morning,

I hope you are having a great week.  Last night I was cleaning up my book shelves when I came across this book that I made back in the summer. I want to make a handy little book where I could write down my to do list and jot down notes as I thought of them.

My chipboard book is decorated with Rose Red, Whisper White and Bermuda Bay card stock. The Designer Series Paper is The Thoroughly Modern. I added Rose Red and Bermuda Bay ribbon to the spine of the book. The greeting is from My Favourite Things stamp set.

As soon as my daughter saw this book sitting on the counter, she claimed it for herself. She said "it was so beautiful mommy...can I have it? "" How do you say no to that!!!

Here is the side of the book. I used the Round Tab punch to create my tabs.

Recipe: Bermuda Bay, Rose Red and Whisper White card stock, Thoroughly Modern D.S,P, 1 3/8" circle punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, Bermuda Bay and Rose Red ribbon, My Favourite Things stamp set, Rose Red ink, Bind it all Machine and the Rounded Tab Punch.

Petals a Plenty Embossed Top Note -- Christmas Week #19

Good Morning,

I'm super excited to show you my card for today. Do you want to know how to create a blank area using the new Petals a Plenty Impression Folder??  This is way too cool!!! Trust me you are going to want to purchase this folder before it's gone. You can only purchase this folder till Jan 4, 2010 as it currently in the Holiday Mini.

Using the Petals a Plenty Impression Folder, the Top Note die and the Big Shot machine, I created a blank top note area for my trees. This cool technique was showed to us by the famous Patty Bennett. You can view a tutorial here on how to do this amazing technique.

Then I stamped the Pine Tree from Lovely as a Tree in Old Olive onto my blank Top Note area. Next, I stamped the tree again( without re-ink my stamp) to create another tree but in a softer tone, then I stamp the tree again.

The greeting is from the Four the Holiday stamp set.

Recipe: Real Red, and Whisper White card stock, Four the Holiday stamp set, Lovely as a Tree stamp set, Big Shot Machine, Top Note Die, Petals a Plenty Impression Folder, and Real Red ink.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day,
