I hope you are having a great day!!
I was very excited to start my new club this week I would like to say a big thank you to Sherry, Tina, Nichole, and Gayle (we missed you Jade and Annette) for all the laughs the other night in our Technique Club. With this club, each month you will learn 2 amazing techniques and make a 6 by 6 sample reference card.
Have you ever thought about joining a club??
Joining a club is a great way to build up your stamp collection and supplies gradually!! Each month one of the club members will be “hostess” without actually having to host an in-home workshop. Which means when it’s your turn your will automatically receive the first level hostess benefits or more just from being in the club, plus at least $20 in FREE product. You do not have to know all the club members; unless you want to get your own club together, it’s a great way to meet new people. All clubs are held in my stamp studio, so you bring your wish list with you on club nights and come out for some stampin’ fun!!!
If this sounds fun to you and you would like more information about the clubs I offer, please email me.
So at the club the other night we learned the Faux Silk Technique. This is an amazing technique. First you are going to stamp an image onto a piece of tissue paper. Crumble up your tissue paper and then smooth it out. Using the Anywhere Glue stick, you are going to apply your glue to a piece of Whisper White card stock, next lay your piece of tissue on top of the card stock and then smooth it out. Volia...you have Faux Silk.
We used the stamp set Upsy Daisy. First we stamped the image in Pale Plum onto the tissue paper and then we restamp the image in Perfect Plum just slightly off the image. This is called Shadow Stamping.
All the ladies were very excited about cool technique!!
Recipe:Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, and Whisper White card stock, Scallop Circle Punch, 13/8" circle punch, and 1 1/4" circle punch, Uspy Daisy stamp set, White Satin Ribbon, Whimsical Words SAB CM stamp set, Block C, Perfect Plum and Pale Plum ink, Anywhere Glue stick and tissue paper.
