MDS -- Cherish this Momemt

Hello,

So I have been working like crazy to finish up my layouts so that I can send my album to the printers. I can't wait to see the finish product.

Album 2010-003

I love these pictures of the girls!!

On my page, I used the new Always Elegant Elements download which is my title "Cherish this moment".

The one neat trick on this page was that I colour match the snowflakes to Sam's hat. Wow cool is that??

My colours are Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Black and Blushing Bride. I'm thinking that I should have a Colour Coach by my computer for inspiration for layout colours. My inspiration for some of my colours today came from the new Candy Cane Designer Series Paper that is in the Holiday Mini. Which by the way starts tomorrow!!! YIPEEEEEEEEE!!

Stampin' Up! just released a bunch of new downloads for My Digital Studio. You can find those downloads here.

Last but not least, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Pink Pirouette, Bravo Burgundy, and Elegant Eggplant are now available for free download for My Digital Studio.  Keep your My Digital Studio card stock collection complete and up-to-date by downloading these five favourites today!

Cajun Craze Aviary Card

Happy Monday,

I wanted to share with you another card that we made in our Aviary class last week. It makes me smile just thinking about all the fun that we had.

Have you seen the new Designer Series Paper collection in the new catalogue? These pattern packs are amazing as you get 40 sheets. Each pack has 10 different colours with 2 designs for each colour. This pack just keeps going and going....you will have tons of patterns for you projects!!

We used the Cajun Craze pattern on this card along with Old Olive and Not Quite Navy.

Greeting Card Kids

Hello,

Okay, I'm the first to admit it, when I saw this stamp set in the new catalogue, it wasn't something that I would order. But after seeing all the samples at convention, and watching Diana Gibbs Watercolouring Presentation, I knew that I had to give it a try.

Diana shared a cool trick with us that will blow your mind away. It makes watercolouring so fun and easy. So the other day, I spent the afternoon colouring with my friend Heather. Now, I have to tell you that I was very frustrated at the beginning (like want to throw the picture out the window) but after Heather showed me how to do it....oh my gosh it's so much fun!! So after colouring a variety of images, I came home to make some cards.

I love this card!! I love everything about it...the greeting card kids, the tag, the word Spooky...even Alison said to me "Mommy I love this card...it's beautiful"

A Little MDS For you...

Hello,

Yesterday, I finally had a chance to work on some layouts in My Digital Studio. My goal was to create an album before the end of the summer. Yikes...I have only one week left. I have a few more layouts to go and hope to complete them this weekend. I really do think it would be easier if I had a laptop then I could work on it when I was watching TV.

This layout captures Emily and her best friend Sam playing hockey. They loved to play hockey on the backyard rink. My friend Ellen captured these great shots of the girls. Thanks Ellen!!!

Holiday Season Week #4

Hello,

Wow, I can't believe that I have been showing you Holiday projects for a month now! Where did August go? Before we know it, the holiday season will be upon us!

My card today was fun to make. I used the new Level 3 Hostess set called Playful Pieces.

In Playful Pieces you get 30 images that you can mix and match. I decided to used the rectangle images to make Christmas presents with mine. I stamped them in Cherry Cobbler, and Old Olive. Then I added a bow to the top of the presents!! This card was quick and simple...a good one to mass produce so that you can hand them out to family and friends. Check out the Basic Pearls on the present..gotta love them!
