Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween,

The girls are so excited about tonight. They have been busy all morning craving pumpkins and getting ready for tonight. I thought I would share with you a layout that I create for them.

My page came together very quickly. I was done in about 10 minutes. I customed created my background by using one of my pumpkin photo's. I love how it just adds to the page!!

The girls did an amazing job on their pumpkins. I will be back later this week with a layout of our Halloween night!!

Holiday Week #13

The count down is on now...only 8 weeks to go!! I have to admit that I saw my first commerical yesterday for the Holiday Season. You know it will be here before we know it. Have you started your shopping yet??

The ladies in my technique club wanted to learn how to watercolour. Now, how can we make a Christmas Card without using the Greeting Card Kid stamp set. This set is perfect for watercolouring! Have you seen the new Northern Frost Decorative Strip die in the Holiday Mini? This die creates 8 beautiful snowflakes and each one is unique.

I wanted to create some glittery snowflakes so I used the new Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesives sheets that are in the Holiday Mini. I ran it through the Big Shot with the Northern Flurry die and when they came out, I had snowflakes with adhesive back. Then I peel the backing off and stuck it in Dazzling Diamonds. Voila...we have one beautiful snowflake!!!

Supplies: Baja Breeze and Whisper White card stock, Northern Frost Decorative Strip, Big Shot Machine, Multipurpose Adhesives sheets, Greeting Card Kids stamp set, Watercolour paper, Stazon ink, Glimmer Brads, Brights Christmas stamp set, Northern Flurry Impression Folder, Blender pen, Dazzling Diamonds and watercolour crayons.

Have a great day!!

French Foliage Grid Technique Card

I'm excited to show you my card today. This is one of the projects that we will be making in our Technique Club tonight. I can't wait show the ladies!!

The technique that I focused on is the Grid Technique. First, you are going to line your card stock up diagonally with a score line on the Scor-Pal. Score card stock at even intervals. Here, the scores were made every 1".  Turn card stock 90 degrees, line up as before, and score at every 1" again to create a scored grid. Then using the French Foliage stamp set, I put the three leaves on my large clear block to make a collage, then I randomly stamped on my card stock. Once I was happy with my collage, I sponged the background in More Mustard and Cajun Craze.

I love how this card turned out!!!

Supplies: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso and Cajun Craze card stock, Cajun Craze button, Linen Thread, Old Olive 1 1/4" Striped Ribbon, Scor Pal, French Foliage stamp set, Afterthought Level 1 Hostess stamp set, Cajun Craze, Old Olive and Early Espresso ink. and sponges.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!!

Halloween Test Tube Holder

I'm excited to share this project with you. Now, this project was inspired by my good friend Heather. As soon as I saw it, I knew that I had to show the ladies in my Sampler club. Now, I'm not sure you would want to make 100 of these, but I think they would be fun to hand out to those special friends that come to your door.

We used the new Wicked Fun Designer Series paper along with the Wicked Cool stamp set. How fun is this test tube holder?
