Our Christmas Morning MDS Layout

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! We sure did. Now it's time to relax and have fun playing with all the new goodies!

I had time this morning to create a fun MDS page on our Christmas Morning. I find Christmas hard to scrapbook as there are million and one picture that you have to chose from. So I kept this simple with focusing on some of my favourite ones. I will have a few more pages to share with you as the girls got a few presents that need their own pages. LOL

I'm excited that I have actually scrapbooked Christmas on time this year. That's what I love about Digital..that it's quick and easy. Now I do still love the traditions method of scrapbooking, but with my busy schedule this works for me and I preserving those memories for my girls!

I love the Jolly Holly Designer Series Paper! I'm really pleased how this page turned out.

Have a great day,

Our Christmas Eve MDS Page

I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday with family and friends! Ours was amazing!! It was the first time that we actually stayed home on Christmas Day and it was so nice. We had fun hanging out as a family! We watched some Christmas shows, played some games and the girls spend most of the day building their new Lego sets. Now, my parents did come out for a bit but my mom was not feeling well. She ended up coming down with the flu..not fun on Christmas Day!

The girls were so excited that they were up around 5:30 to check to see if Santa came but they did go back to bed till around 7am. The best part was watching them open up their presents and seeing the excitement on their faces! I know that there was few surprises under the tree for them. I can't wait to show you them on a MDS page.

I thought I would share our Christmas Eve with you. We had fun hanging out with our friends and watching our local Christmas Eve parade. Once we were home, the girls exchanged gifts, we left cookies out for Santa and then we read "Twas the Night before Christmas..."

I love that I'm stepping out of my creative zone in My Digital Studio and trying new things. I love how this page turned out!! I can't wait to show you our Christmas Day page!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Jingle all the way....

Happy Christmas Eve!!

I'm so excited that I can't wait. It's going to be a fun day around here...hanging out with friends, watching our Christmas Eve parade, watching the girls exchange presents and watching some of our favourite Christmas shows!

Remember back at the beginning of the month, I went to Heather's Christmas Downline event and we were to bring a secret Santa gift. While, I'm excited to share the project with you today that I made. Now, I saw this idea on my friends Mary-Beth's blog and knew that I had to make one..okay two of them. I had to keep on for myself! I have it sitting on a table in my front entrance.

Thanks for the idea Mary-Beth!! I love it!!!!

Now, I will be doing this as a class in the New Year. We will be making a variety of them to go with the season. Watch for more details soon!!

From my family to yours....Merry Christmas!!!

Our Christmas Traditions

Last night, I had a chance to work on some MDS layouts. I'm really trying hard to scrapbook the Holidays while we are still in Holiday mode.

The one thing the girls love to do is countdown the days till Christmas. The excitment each morning to see what's inside those  yummy Chocolate calendars. It won't be Christmas if we didn't have our Lego Calendar to open up also. They girls love building their surprise each morning and adding it to their collection of Lego.

On my page today, I used the Deck the Halls and Jolly Holly Designer Series Paper. I love that Stampin' Up! is adding more digital downloads to the collection. The best part is they don't retire!!

Album fall 2010-007

I love that I'm trying new things with MDS and the best part is if you don't like it, you just remove it. I would love to hear what you think of my page today!!

Only 2 more days to go....

Dasher in the Moonlight

The girls and I had so much fun baking yesterday as we made their favourite cookies for Santa. Now, it will be interesting to see if those cookies are still in the house by Christmas Eve. LOL Oh well, if not we are making more today.

This card is so cool. I made it at my friend Heather's one night. We did some masking on this card to create the spotlight on Dasher. I love using  Night of Navy for Christmas cards.

Recipe: Night of Navy and Whisper White card stock, Night of Navy Striped Ribbon, Dasher, Dazzling Diamonds, Two Way Glue Pen, 1 3/4" Circle Punch (the masking), and Night of Navy ink.

We are off to bake...only 3 more days to go!!
