I'm loving the new Incolours right now!! I'm not a big fan of purple, but I love how rich the Concord Crush is. Have you seen the Pattern Paper pkg that you can get if you are a hostess!! Wow, I finally decided to open one up and oh my gosh the paper is yummy!!

Easter Cello Candies


Before I show you today's project, I have to share another proud moment with you. Last night, Alison's team played their final game of the season against Zorra. We were playing them for the league champs and it was best out of 5. This series has been so evenly matched that it came down to the last game. I'm very excited to say that our girls won 2 to 0. So they are now the first place team in their league and they will be receiving gold medals!!!

Of course, I had to capture the golden moment!!! It was so cute as they all piled on top of the goalie!! Way to go Blazers!!


Now, on to the reason why you stopped by!! Alison had fun last weekend, making these super cute Easter Treat Holders. She used the new Easter Blossoms stamp set and A Good Eggs set. I love these 1 by 8 cello bags!!! Didn't she do a great job!

MDS Page..The Mill Pond


One day last fall, my neigbour Marina took the girls to the Mill Pond ( a beauiful spot here in town) for a photo shoot. She took some amazing shots of the girls and lots of them!! Then the girls and her picked out there favourite and put them into a photo collage frame for us. was was my favourite Christmas gift!!

So, I asked her if I could get the photo's on a CD so that I could scrapbook some of them. Wow, after I looked at all the photo's it was hard to choose. There will be a few more pages using these pictures!!

Anyway, here is a page that I created last night using one of my favourite photo's of the girls. Thanks Marina for these beautiful pictures!!

A proud moment.....


I hope you are having a great weekend! It's been a busy one around here with Hockey!! Emily's team won yesterday against Waterloo in playoffs. So now we head to Oshawa for an all weekend championship. They will be playing three other teams in Ontario for the top spot. The best thing is that they will be one of the 4 top teams in Ontario!! That is a huge accomplishment!! Way to go girls!!

I thought I would share a photo with you of them..this after they won!!!

Totally Tool - Sketch Challenge 196


Note: I'm so excited as my card was pick as the Operator Picks for Sketch Challenge #196. Thank you ladies!!!

I hope you are having a great day!! Last night I had a chance to play along with this weeks Stamping 411 sketch. This sketch was perfect as I was working on samples for my upcoming classes. 

My youngest daughter Alison loves to stamp with me. She loves to go through the catalogue and pick out goodies to add to her wish list. I thought I would surprise her by ordering this set for her. I thought it would be perfect for this week's sketch!!

The set that I used was Totally's a great set for the men in our lives!!! I used a blender pen and my watercolour crayons to colour in my tools as I want them to have a softer look to it then it I had used markers.


Recipe: Pacific Point, Black, Whisper White and Basic Grey card stock, Basic Grey pattern paper, Black brads, Totally Tool stamp set, Watercolour Crayons, Blender Pen, Basic Grey Satin Ribbon, 1/2" Circle Punch. Jewellery Tag Punch, Party this way set, and linen thread.

Springtime Vintage


I have to tell you when I first saw this paper in the Occasions Mini, I wasn't a big fan of it. But I decided to give it a try and now I love it!!

I love the Inlaid Technique!! I used scrap pieces of the Springtime Vintage paper to make my card. Then I ran them through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Impression Folder. that not cool!!!


Recipe: Crumb Cake, Rose Red, Pear Pizzaz, and Very Vanilla cardstock, Tulip Frame Impression Folder, Square Lattice Impression Folder, Decorative Label Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Oval Punch, Vintage Flowers, Pear Pizzaz Seam Binding Ribbon, Springtime Vintage DSP, Basic Pearls and the Big Shot.

Baby Bundle


The other day a friend of mine asked me to make her some baby cards. I was excited as I don't make baby cards very often. I decided to use the new Baby Bundle stamp set and I decided to paper piece the stroller and booties with some Pretty in PInk DSP.


Recipe: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso and Pretty in PInk card stock, Polka Dot Impression Folder, Big Shot machine, Oval Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window punch, Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Baby Bundle stamp set, Pretty in Pink DSP, Pretty in Pink and Early Espresso markers.

Bliss card and not again....


This is what we woke up to here...tons of snow!!! Sorry for the late post, but we were actually without hydro for about 4 1/2 hours. Let's hope that the snow doesn't last too long, as I was getting use to the spring like weather.

Anyway, I decided to CASE myself from a card last week. I loved the colours so much that I made it again but this time using the Bliss stamp set. Remember, you only have 8 more days to take advantage of Sale a Bration before it's done!!!

Petal Cone Ice Cream Card


I can't tell you enough, how much I love the Petal Cone Die in the Occasions Mini!!! There is so many things that you can do with it!! This is one must have die!!

I love that you can use it to make an Ice Cream Cone card. This would be super fun to give to all the children in our families, or to plan a summer theme party!!


Recipe: Crumb Cake card stock, Pretty in Pink DSP, Square Lattice Impression Folder, Big Shot Machine, Petal Cone Die, Party this Way set, 3/4" Circle Punch, Red Glimmer Paper and black ink.
