Fancy Flower Mother's Day Card

Hello,

I'm so looking forward to today!! I will be at the Thames Centre Community Showcase at the Dorchester Arena. I hope you can join us today so that you can check out what all the business in Dorchester have to offer. There will be product demonstration ( I'm presenting a card on stage at 1pm), food fare, free samples and so much more!! There is something for everyone in the family. The event is from 9 am to 4 pm.

I thought it would be fun to show them a card that you can make for Mother's Day. My inspiration for this card came from the Stampin' Success magazine. Now, I did change mine up.

Recipe: Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso card stock, Scallop Border Punch, Early Espresso Ribbon, Fancy Flower Die, Big Shot Machine, Wonderful Favourites stamp set, Early Espresso Ink, Cherry Cobbler Button, and Cherry Cobbler Baker Twine.

Fancy Flower Book Mark

Happy Friday!!

I finally got around to making a few of these book marks last night. This book mark came together fairly quickly thanks to my favourite tool the Big Shot Machine. I used the new Fancy Flower die to make them.

My book mark uses the fun Fancy Flower Die along with the Trinket Keys embellishments. Now, I have to let you in on a secret...this is the first time that I used them...and they are so cute!! Remember you only had 1 more day to order product from the Occasions Mini catalogue.

I thought I would show you what it look like on a book. How cute are these?? I can't wait to make some of these for family and friends!!

Sew Sweet- Stamping 411 Sketch #200

I had a chance last night to play along with this weeks sketch over at Stamping 411. They are celebrating their 200 sketch!! Wow, that is amazing...thanks for the inspiration ladies!!!

As I continue to show you some of my favourite products from the Occasions Mini, I thought it would be fun to use the Sew Suite line. This fun line is every sewers dream!! From buttons, to pom - pom trim, to fabric to stamps, there is something for everyone!!

One of my favourite products is the Designer Series Paper. I love the bright fun patterns in it!

Recipe: Wild Wasbi, Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla card stock, Sew Suite stamp set, Basic Rhinestones, Sweet Stitches DSP, Scallop Border Punch, Melon Mambo Pom Pom Trim, Just Believe stamp set, and Black ink.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but I paper pieced the dress. First I stamp the image onto the DSP, and then I cut them out.

Nature Walk 3 by 3 Card

Hello,

I have to say that I wish I had bought these products sooner. I'm talking about the beautiful Botanical Gazette line in the Occasions Mini. This fabulous line has the Botanical Gazette Designer Series Paper along with the Nature Walk stamp set. I looked at this stamp many times and thought that I really didn't need another nature set. Well, I saw a few samples with it and thought I would give it a try. I'm a glad that I did.I think that you could use this set for any occasion.

I made this fun 3 by 3 card with my friend Heather. I always forget about the collage stamping (using a multiple of images on one project). Oh..check out the new Baker Twine that will be available in the new Summer Mini. Love it!!!

Bold Blossom Thank You card

I thought it would be fun this week to show you some of my favourite products from the Occasions Mini catalogue. We only have 4 more days to order our favourite before it's too late!!

Yesterday, I show you my favourite die...the Petal Cone. Today, I thought it would be fun to show you the one of my favourite stamp sets. This stamp only has 4 images but they rock!! I'm talking about the Bold Blossom stamp set!! This is a great set for any occasion!!

I came across this colour combo in the Stampin' Success magazine and I had to give it a try.  Wow...am I glad that I did...I love it!!

I have been saving this card so that I could show you today. We made this card at my Hostess Appreciation Day! The ladies love it. We used the stamp set Easter Blossoms from the Occasions Mini. I love how the eggs are tucked inside the grass!!

Awash with Flowers

Okay, I loved this card so much that I had to make another one but with different colour of buttons. The first one that I did, I use Daffodil Delight button as the centre of my flowers. You can check it out here. So for my card today, I used Rich Razzleberry buttons. I have to say I think I like the Rich Razzleberry buttons more!! What do you think??

A Nature Walk CASE

I hope you are having a great day with family and friends. We are having Easter dinner here tonight with my husband's side of the family. I can't wait as it will be lots of fun!!!

So, my post will be quick today as I still have lots to do. My inspiration for my card today came from my friend Kimberly. I have looked at this set so many times in the Occasions MIni and finally decided to buy it. I thought this set would be great for any occasions.

As soon as I saw this card on her blog, I knew that I had make one. Thanks for the inspiration Kimberly!!

I love how she used a clear block to create a background for her card.

Sneak Peek: Sail Away

Hello,

I finally had a chance to play with my new box of goodies from the Summer Mini. I can't wait to show you this fabulous new mini. It's filled with so many wonderful products for all the Summer Occasions. If you are a customer on mine, you should be receiving your mini soon in the mail.
