Pun Fun Birthday Card

Hello,

I have been challenging myself to use some of my older stamp sets. As I would looking through the catalogue I was inspired to use the Pun Fun stamp set. This set is great for watercolouring! I decided to use my watercolour crayons and my blender pen.

Recipe: Marina Mist, Black, Whisper White and Daffodil Delight card stock, Small Star Punch, Oval Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Watercolour Crayons, Blender Pen, Spiral Punch, Staz-on ink, Party this Way stamp set and Pun Fun stamp set.

On the Green- Stampin 411 Sketch Challenge

I have to tell you that yesterday we had SNOW!! Yes, it snow in the morning and by mid day it was gone. I don't know about you but I hope Spring is around the corner soon!! I'm tired of this cold weather!!!

I had a chance on the weekend to play along with this weeks sketch challenge over at Stamping 411. I decided to use the new On the Green stamp set. This stamp is part of the A La Carte collection. When I was looking for some colour inspiration, I turned to my handy Colour Coach. I decided to go with Crumb Cake, Always Artichoke and Bashful Blue!!

Recipe: Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue, Whisper White and Always Artichoke card stock, Decorative Label Punch, Party this Way stamp set, On the Green stamp set, Always Artichoke ink, Square Lattice IMpression folder and the Big Shot.

Easter Blossom- Mother of Pearl technique

Happy Monday!!

I hope you had a great weekend. We sure did. It was so nice to be home for a change. We had fun just hanging out!!

I saw this cool technique in the Stampin' Success magazine (a monthly magazine for demonstrators). It showed us how to do the Mother of Pearl technique. I showed the ladies in technique club how do this and they loved it!!

Mother of Pearl Technique: Pour some Frosted White Shimmer paint on to a paper plate. Scrunch up some wax paper. Dip the paper into the paint and remove excess ink. Lightly dab all over a piece of glossy white card stock. You want to leave some white space showing. Once dry, you are going to sponge over it with ink creating a Mother of Pearl look. Then stamp your image in Staz-on ink. Now I use Aqua Painter and Ink on my to colour in my image.

Recipe: Rose Red, Whisper White and Baja Breeze card stock, Framed Tulip Impression Folder, Big Shot machine, Scallop Oval punch, Oval Punch, Glossy Paper, Easter Blossom stamp set, Colour Spritzer tool, Black marker, Aqua painter and Rose Red ink.

Hostess Appreciation Day!!

Hello,

First, I would like to say a big thank you to all the ladies that joined me today for my first Hostess Appreciation Day!! It was a fun morning of stamping, laughs and munchies!! Thank you for making my job so much fun!! Can't wait for the next Hostess appreciation day in the summer!!

One of the things that we did was play some games. I'm so glad the ladies were great sports about the games as it was so much fun!!There was lots of laughing going on!!!!

One of the games we did was the blind fold stamping. The ladies got into team, and one of them was blind folded. The other team member had to instructed them on how to make a card. Now I did show them the card quickly and they had to go by memory. It was so fun to watch these ladies explain how to make this card.

Awash with Flowers

Happy Friday!

Wow, where did that week go!! I'm so looking forward to the weekend for a couple of reasons!! First, it's the first weekend we have been home for in about 3 weeks and I can't wait to pamper all my past hostess at my 1st Hostess Appreciation Day!!!

Last night at Technique club, I show the ladies how to make this beautiful card using the stamp set Awash with Flowers. I saw this idea in the Stampin Success magazine (a monthly magazine that you receive as a Demonstrator).

First you stamp your outline image in Staz-on ink. Then using sponge daubers sponge in your petals using a light and dark colour. Then you are going to add Dazzling Diamonds. Wow...is all I can say!!!

Recipe: Pear Pizzaz, Blushing Bride, White and Rich Razzleberry card stock, Bright Buttons, Mat Pack, Paper Piercer, Dazzling Diamonds, Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzaz ink , Thanks for Caring stamp set, Awash with Flowers stamp set, Big Shot machine, Square Lattice folder, and Stazon ink.

I love this colours together!!! This is one colour combo I will use again!!

Sweet Summer

As I was looking through my photo's last night, I can't believe that I didn't show you this card. Now, my card does use the Sale a Bration set "Sweet Summer" but I wanted to point out some other products on it.

Check out the Level 1 Hostess Designer Series Paper pack...this fun 6 by 6 pack comes in all the fun Incolour. I'm loving this colours right now...can't wait to show you a card that I made using one of them. Plus, check out the sweet greeting. It comes from the stamp set called Hodgepodge Happiness. This set is super cute!!

Spring Frame

I love the each day it's starting to look more and more like Spring. I love seeing my neighbours outside, the green grass and flowers poking up from the garden!! I was inspired by the sunny weather to make this Spring theme Frame. This is the second layout in our Frame Series classes.

I had fun decorating it with the new Springtime Vintage DSP. I love the colours in that pack!!!

Yeah it's Tuesday which means that there will be new downloads released!! Head over to My Digital Studio to check them out!!

Remember me telling you about my neighbour taking the girls one day and did a photo shoot with them. Wow, I have over 400 photo's to choose from. I have decided that I'm going to create a Mini album to capture all those amazing shots. But in the meantime, I had to add a few pages to my fall album.

When they announced the winners from the My Digital Studio contest, I fell in love with the layout that Connie Collins did. I knew that I had to CASE it. Thank goodness it was feature in the Stampin' Success magazine!! Thanks for the inspiration Connie!!!

I have been creating like crazy these last few days and I can't wait to share the projects with you!!
