Awash Flowers Baby Wipe Technique

Hello,

Last week at Technique Club, I had fun showing the ladies how to make their own ink pads using Baby Wipes. The cool thing about this is that you can make any colour combo you want. All you need is baby wipes and re-inkers.

How to: First, you are going to take a baby wipe and fold it a few times. I would then place it on a paper plate. Starting with your darker re-inker, place drop of ink onto your baby wipe. Now take a light colour and fill in the spots around the darker colour. This will help blend the colours!! Now take your stamp and daub it onto the baby wipe and then stamp onto your card stock. Wow cool is that!!!

Recipe:Whisper White, and Not Quite Navy card stock, Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon, Jewellery Tag Punch, Just Believe stamp set, Awash Flowers stamp set, Baby Wipes, Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy Re-inkers.

Yahoo, it's Friday and the long weekend!! I'm so looking forward to hanging out with my family and enjoying the beautiful weather!! It's the first official long weekend of the summer!!

The other night I had fun stamping with my friend Heather!! We made this super cute card that shows off paper tearing. It's funny how you forget these fun techniques!!

Recipe: Bashful Blue, So Saffron, and Whisper White card stock, Itty Bitty Flowers, Brads, Scallop Circle Punch, Scallop Border Punch, So Saffron Ribbon, Old Olive DSP, Playful DSP, You're a Gem stamp set, 1 1/4" Circle Punch and Cupcake Punch.

Summer Splash

Have you seen the new fun stamp set in the Summer Mini called Summer Splash. This stamp set screams summer fun!! It has all those images that you would want to create your summer memories at the beach. From sea animals, to seashells and surfing to digging in the sand!!

I love how this card turned out. It's bright and cheery and screams summer fun!! I did a little bit of Rock and Rolling on my Octopus. I first stamp him in Pumpkin Pie and then roll him in Real Red. I love this effect!!!

My inspiration for this card came from my good friend Heather!!!

Summer Splash Birthday Card

To you ever find a technique that you love and you keep making cool projects with it. Well, I'm loving the Baby Wipe Technique right now. I love that I can make my own ink pad using a baby wipe and re-inkers.

I thought it would be fun to make a two tone octopus using the baby wipe technique. I used Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point. The trick with this technique is that you want to use a light and dark colour!!

Recipe: Pear Pizzaz, Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White card stock, Large Oval Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Rich Razzleberry DSP, Square Lattice Die, Big Shot Machine, Reinkers, Baby Wipe, Party this Way stamp set and Summer Splash stamp set.

Elements of Style Birthday Card

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a great weekend!! We had a great one!! It was so nice just to hang out and do nothing!! I did manage to get some stamping done and I did some MDSing (My Digital Studio)!!!

I really like the Faux Mother of Pearl technique, so I thought I would try it again and this time use a different stamp set. I decide to go with Elements of Style. This is a set that I haven't use often, but I think I should. I really like the hummingbird!!

Well it's a rainy day here and it's a great day to stamp!! I had fun this afternoon creating some fun projects to share with you!

I decided to play along with this week's sketch over at Stamping 411. I have been looking at this stamp for awhile now and I was excited when one of my customers lend me hers. Thanks Dianna!! I'm talking about the Have a Seat stamp set. After creating some fun projects with it, I might just have to get it. LOL

Recipe: Soft Suede, Kraft and Very Vanilla card stock, Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon, Have a Seat stamp set, Aviary stamp set, Soft Suede Brads, and Elegant Soiree DSP.

Quilted Card

I hope you are having a great day!! It's been a fun one around here so far!! It so nice to just hang out!! I do plan on spending sometime this weekend making some fun projects to share with you!!

I finally had a chance to make one of these Quilted Card. You punch out a variety of 1 1/4 squares and line them up on a piece of card stock. Once you are finished, you run that piece through the Square Lattice Die and the Big Shot Machine. Wow, how cool is that?? It totally changes the look of the card stock!!

Recipe: Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzaz, Rose Red and Whisper White card stock, Fancy Flower Die, Big Shot Machine, Pear Pizzaz Seam Binding Ribbon, 1 1/4 Square Punches, Springtime Vintage DSP, Square Lattice Impression Folder, and Vintage Flowers.

Sunny Fun Never Ending Card

Happy Friday!!

I have seen many of these cards in person but never had the chance to make one. I finally decided to give it a try and I love it. I'm talking about the Never Ending Card! The best thing about this card is that it never ends..just keeps on going!

I decided to use my colour coach to help me pick a colour that would go with my base. I decided to go with Bashful Blue, Tangerine Tango and Garden Green. The colour combo screams Summer Fun to me! Also, I used the new Sunny Fun stamp set to decorate it.

And finally this one. Now if you flip them a different way you will get different images each time. That is why it's call the never ending card!! How cool is that!!
