Yippee...the Last Day of School

The girls and I are so excited as today is the last day of school! We are so looking forward to just hanging out and having fun this summer!! I'm excited that I don't have to make lunches anymore!!LOl

I wanted to share a card that I made last year for the teachers. Last night when we were going through my stash of cards, Alison found it and claim it for her teacher.The girls have had amazing teachers this year, and I know that they will miss them!!

Recipe: Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Black, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, White and Basic Grey card stock, Ornament Punch, Word Window punch, Library Clips, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, 5 petal punch, large oval punch, the Write stuff D.S.P, Cherry Cobbler ink, Big Shot and Naturally Serif die.

Sweets for Sweets

Only 2 more days to go..the girls and I are so excited that we can't wait! I'm so looking forward to the downtime with them, and most of all just hanging out in the summer.

I love this new stamp set and the new Incolours!! I can't wait to place an order in July for all the fun new things in the catalogue. I would love to hear what is on your wish list. I have to say that I will be ordering the new yummy ribbon, Incolour DSP pack, Designer Series paper and of course some new stamps!

Happy Monday!

It's a fun Monday around here as my Emily is 13 today! I can't believe how fast time has gone...I remember the day she was born like yesterday and now she is a teenager!! I wanted to share with you a present that she received from my good friend Linda. Linda is a friend and loves to spoil my children with gifts. When she found out it was Emily's birthday, she made these for her friends!!Thank you so much Linda, the girls loved it!!!

I love this picture of Emily. We were in Juneau on our Whale Watching tour!

 

This is what my friend LInda made for her. A bouquet of Gumball flowers, Daisy Treat Cups, and a cake full of treats!!

Eastern Bloom

I hope you are having a great weekend!! It's been a fun one around here with classes, clubs and a sleepover. My Emily turns 13 tomorrow (where did that time go) so she wanted a sleepover with two of her closest friends!! I think the lack of sleep will hit them soon. LOL

I wanted to share another card that we made using the Eastern Bloom stamp set. Now this set is retiring in 4 days. Yikes, I can't believe that it's the end of June soon!!

We also use Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper and that is also retiring!!

Recipe: Baja Breeze, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla card stock, Final Press Impression Folder, Big Shot machine, 1 3/8"  and 1 1/4" circle punches, Eastern Bloom and Petal Pizzaz stamp set, Touch of Kindness stamp set, Very Vanilla 5/8" Ribbon, and Elegant Soriee DSP.

Halloween is a Hoot

We had so much fun last night at our Bon Voyage Party and the ladies loved the projects!! We were having so much fun that I forgot to take pictures. LOL

This was one of the cards that we made last night. It used the stamp set Halloween is a Hoot and it's retiring at the end of June. I saw a similar card on Stampin Connection, and I knew that I just had to recreate it. Now I change it up to make it my own!!

I love how we used the Owl Punch to create the body for the witch!!

Recipe: Black, White, and Tangerine Tango card stock, Scallop Border Punch, Word Window, Modern Label and Large Oval Punch, Wicked Fun stamp set, Halloween's a Hoot stamp set, Tangerine Tango ink,Tangerine Tango DSP and the Owl Punch!

Wow, I'm so glad that it's Friday!! It's going to be a busy but fun weekend!! Tonight I'm having my Bon Voyage Party..it's time to say good bye to all our favourite products!! I can't wait to see many of my friends there!! I will be sure to show pictures on Saturday!!

As I was looking through an issue of Paper Crafts, I saw this cute sketch on a card. I knew that it would be fun to recreate using our products. Sad thing is that the Star Punch is sold out already. Bummer!! Anyway, this is one of the cards that we made last night in my Retire Stamp a Stack class. Thanks for the fun evening ladies!!

Wowzers, have you seen the new downloads for My Digital Studio? This week downloads are amazing!!You can check them out here. I can't wait to download them and create with them!!

Anyway, here is a page that I create for Emily. She decided this year to be a goalie and I was a little nervous about this. But she is rock solid in net and not to many balls get pass her.

My layout was inspired by a sketch that I saw in Scrapbooks ETC magazine. Most of the time when I design a layout in MDS, I usually start with a layout that I saw in a magazine and then I change it up from there.

Hello Doily Thank You card

I don't know about you but I love getting cards in the mail. I was super excited one day when I went to the mail box and found this waiting for me. This card was made by the Stampin' Up! Special Event team. It was a card to say thanks for traveling to Alaska with them.

OMG...it's beautiful. It uses the new stamp set called Hello Doily. This set will be available starting on July 1st.

Thanks to all the ladies on the Special Events team!! You made our first Incentive Trip very special! Thanks for all your hard work...we really appreciate it!!
