Sweets for Sweet Amazing Fold Card

Happy Monday!!

While on the Alaska Cruise, we had chance to make this amazing fold card using the new Sweets for Sweets stamp set. Not only did we get to use a new stamp set but we also got to play around with the new In-colours!!

I have to say that this was my favourite make and take out of the 3. I love everything about it!! Now, my friend Mary from Stampin' Pretty  has a  video on how this card was made!! Head on over to check it out!!

Open Sea - Father's Day Card

Hello Stampers,

I hope you are having a great weekend!! It's been a busy one around here. Emily's team is in another soccer tournament and they won both games yesterday which means that we head to semi-finals today!

I wanted to use the Open Sea stamp set for my dad. My dad grew up in Nova Scotia, and this set reminds me of the East Coast.

Recipe: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, and Natural White card stock, Cherry Cobbler Baker Twine, 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches, Open Sea and Word Play stamp set, and Nautical DSP.

Stamp for the Cure Thank You!!!!

Hello,

I would like to say a Big THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to all the ladies that came out last night to support our Stamp for the Cure Fundraiser!! I know that our lives are busy these days, and I really appreciate you taking time to join us for this fun event!!

With all your support, I was able to donate $400 to our local Brain Tumor Foundation in our memory of my Uncle Kenny!! I know that this donation will help them find a cure one day!! So from the bottom of my heart....thank you!!

I wanted to share with you the holder that we made last night for the cards. We designed the insert in My Digital Studio using the Strength and Hope Digital Kit. Once we were done, we printed them at home.  Then we inserted them into our Clear Mount cases. The ladies love them!!

I'm so excited as tonight is our Stamp for the Cure Fundraiser!! I can't wait to see everyone and stamp the night away with them. I will be sure to share photo with you on Saturday!!

I can't wait to offer this as a class in July. This was one of the sets that we received while on Cruise. It's called Sweets for the Sweets!! I have a feeling that this set will be popular!! How cute are those pinwheels?? Check out the light purple...it's a new incolour called Wisteria Wonder.

To say that this set is on the retiring list!! When I first saw this set, I thought of the Anne Geddes dolls. These bees are so cute!!

I love that we can use our markers to shade and highlight!! The trick is to start light and then work your way to a darker colour. The only thing about colouring is that it does take practice!!!

Recipe: Daffodil Delight, Black and Natural White card stock, Old Olive Pattern Paper, Just Buzzin By stamp set, Scallop Square Punch, 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Scallop Border Punch, and Markers.

I'm excited to share one of my upcoming classes with you!! This class is all about water colouring with Markers. Yes, you read that right...Markers. You will learn how to use a light and dark colour marker to shade and highlight!! Trust me you are going to love it!!!

Classic...

So today, I'm showing you a Classic stamp set that is great for all the Old Car fans in your house. This set is super cute and yes it's retiring!! I'm talking about the To a Classic set.This is a great set for all the men in our lives!!

I had fun making this card with my friend Heather!! I love how we used the Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink on the car...this gave it more of a shine!!

I hope you had a great weekend. We had a nice relaxing one for a change.

This week my plan is to show you some of the products that are retiring! My card today was a totally CASE from the Stampin' Success magazine! They were showing us how to do a technique called It's Magic. With this technique, you use the Presto Patterns Specialty Paper (this is retiring), a brayer and an ink pad . Now the trick is that when you finished braying on your ink, you are going to wipe off the excess ink with a tissue, and this is where it's Magic..as the pattern in the paper just pops!!

Recipe: Baja Breeze, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and Old Olive card stock, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Mini Clips, Spiral Punch, Word Play stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, Cherry Cobbler Baker Twine, Presto Patterns Paper, Brayer, Soft Suede Ink, and Early Espresso Ink.

Sparkly and Bright - Stamping 411 Sketch 207

Hello,

It feels so good to stamp!! I finally had a chance to create in my stamp room. The best part was I was just stamping for fun!! I decided to play along with this weeks sketch over at Stamping 411. I love participating in sketches as it makes you think outside your creative zone and it's a good place to start for you projects!!

I thought this week I would show you some of my favourite products that are retiring!! Remember you only had till June 30th to order your favourites before they are gone for good!!

So today, I'm sharing one of my favourite Christmas set Sparkly and Bright.  I don't think I will be letting this one go...way too cute!! Also, I have to say that this was my favourite Christmas Designers Series Paper. I love Holly Jolly DSP!!!

It's hard to tell from the photo, but I put Crystal Effects on his nose.

Strength and Hope CASE

Hello,

I hope you are having a great day!! As soon as I saw this card in the Summer Mini, I knew that I had to CASE it. It showcasing the Strength and Hope stamp set. Stampin' Up!will donate $2 from each sold to Breast Cancer. I know that we all know someone that is fighting this and we want to help find a cure!!!
