Ice Cream Pennant Parade Card

Hello,

I hope you are having a great weekend!! It's been a quiet one around here which is nice for a change!

A while back, I had fun creating this card. I used the new stamp set Pennant Parade to create this fun birthday card!! Who doesn't love a yummy ice cream cone on a hot day??

My ice cream was created using the new Pennant Punch for the cone part and the cupcake punch for the topping! I love that Stampin' Up! coordinates punches with stamp sets. One of the many reasons why I love Stampin' Up!!

Recipe: Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White card stock, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/4" Circle punch, Tasteful Trim Die, Big Shot Machine, Just Add Cake DSP, Chocolate Chip Scallop Dotted Ribbon, Pennant Punch, Cupcake Punch, Small Oval Punch and Pennant Parade stamp.

Sneak Peek Alert, Sneak Peek Alert!!! I'm so excited to share some of my favourite products in the new Holiday Mini with you. The new Holiday Mini starts on Sept 1 and if you are one of my customers, you should be receiving your copy in the mail very soon. One of my new favourite lines is the Spice Cake Suite. This new collection screams fall fun! My card today was inspired by a project that Shelli showed us on stage at Convention. Now she used fabric on her card and I decided to use designer series paper. The greeting on my card is from the new stamp set called Hand Penned Holiday!!

Scaredy Cat Halloween Card

Wow, where did that week go? This summer is just flying by and before we know it we will be in full swing of Fall Activities!! One of my favourite things about fall is all the fun holidays like Halloween!! I love decorating the house for that special Spooky Night!!

The other day, while surfing blogs, I came across this cute card on Mary Fish's blog. As soon as I saw it, I knew that I had to recreate it!! Thanks for the inspiration Mary!!

It's funny how you forgot certain techniques like Heat Embossing. That is one thing that I notice about most of the cards on display at Convention, most of the titles were embossed. I have been trying to do this more on my cards and I'm loving the end result. I feel the title stands out more!!

Recipe: Old Olive, Whisper White and Cajun Craze card stock, Frightful Sights DSP, Buttons, Scaredy Cat stamp set, Black Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, 1 3/8", 1 1/4", and 1" circle punches, 1 1/4" Square Punch, and a Versamark pad.

Patterned Party Birthday Card

I'm so looking forward to my All Occasions Stamp a Stack this afternoon. I can't wait to share the projects with the ladies! It will be a fun afternoon of stamping, chatting and of course munchin on Chocolate!!

Open Sea

The girls and I had fun day yesterday. I was thinking of rearranging my shelves to create some displays in my studio but the more I thought about it I decide it was time for an overhaul. So the girls and I spent the morning rearranging and moving things around. I can't wait to show you in any upcoming class or club. As soon as I'm done with my displays, I will take a picture!!

Spooky Bits CASE

The weather around here the last few days have been like FALL! Cool in the morning and cool at night..this is my kind of weather!! With all this cool weather, it has me thinking about Halloween.

As soon as I saw the Spooky Bits set in the catalogue, I knew that I had to have. There is so much that you can do with this fun set. I'm currently working on a project for my studio, and I can't wait to show you.

I hope you had a great weekend!!

Yesterday I had a chance to play along with Heather's sketch challenge. The one thing that I love about sketches is that it makes you think outside the box. I struggled with this for a bit as I was trying to find the right colour combo to match my photos. The one thing that I love about My Digital Studio is if you don't like something you just delete it!! LOL

I thought I would do a page on Emily and her friends at the movie. Now the sketch was clean and simple and I decided to dress up my page by adding the brads and stitching!

Snowman Button Buddy

We have been having cool weather here the last few days and it's heaven! That is my kind of weather!! All this cool weather has me thinking of the upcoming holidays!

As I was telling you the last few days, I'm loving the new Button Buddy stamp set. The images are great as you can use them for any occasion. One of my favourite images is this cute Snowman!! Just looking at him makes me smile!!

Button Buddies-- Piggy Card

Wow, that week went by way too fast!! Summer needs to slow down!!

The other day, I had fun making a variety of samples using the Button Buddies set. This set is so much fun as you get to accent the images with our yummy buttons!

This idea came to me one night and I had to give it a try. It turned out just how I pictured it. I used the new Stripes Impression Folder on it and I love the look that it creates.

Recipe: Pretty in PInk, Whisper White and Black card stock, Scallop Cirlce Punch, 1 3/4 Circle Punch, Button Buddies stamp, Oval Punch, Friendly Phrases, Stripes Impression Folder, Big Shot Machine, and Pretty in Pink Button.
