Snow Much Fun

Hello,

Well, we enjoyed our day yesterday! In the morning, I had my advent calendar class and the ladies loved it! Thanks Dianna, Danielle and Annette for the fun morning!! Then in the afternoon we hung out and I even manage to get some gifts down in MDS while I was watching TV!

So far today, we manage to put some decorations up and the house is starting to look Festive!! Now we are just trying to figure out where to put the tree!! LOL

I thought I would share another card I made with the Snow Much Fun stamp set. I used the same layout as before just changed up the colours!! I have to say that this is my favourite colour combo for the Holidays.

Snow Much Fun Shaker Card

It's going to be a fun day around here! Today is the first Saturday in along time that we don't have hockey! We are looking forward to maybe decorating the house for the holidays!!

I had many of you ask how to use the new Shaker Frames in the Holiday Mini. So I came up with this adorable Snowman card. We made this card in clubs last week and the ladies loved it!!

The snowflakes (from Snow Swirled) were stamped in Whisper White craft ink onto the Crumb Cake card stock.

We stamped our snowman on to Whisper White card stock using Staz-on ink then he was punched out with the 1 3/4" circle punch. The shaker was made using the new Shaker Frames circles that are in the Holiday Mini. We filled our shaker frame with the new Mica Flakes!! Wow you get alot in that container!!

Get Well Soon Card

I have started to work on my cards for my gifts this year. I like to give my mom, and my mother in law a package of cards that they can use through out the year. I usually do birthday, thank you, get well and sympathy.

This is one of the cards that I have made. I used the new Houndstooth Impression Folder on the top of my card and the bottom was decorated with Spice Cake DSP. I love the cursive writing on the new Perfectly Penned stamp!

Alaska Easel Calender

Happy Tuesday!

It's Tuesday and you know what that means...new digital downloads. I'm excited to see what new downloads there will be for the holidays. I have started working on my list of MDS gifts this year. I have a few projects on the go and can't wait to share them with you.

I wanted to create a calendar of our Alaska trip using the new 10 by 5 Easel Calendar. This calendar style is perfect for showing our beautiful pictures that we took while in Alaska and it makes the perfect desk top calendar. 

So far, I have January done and this is what I came up with. I started with the basic 2012 Fresh Flowers template and then change out the elements to make it my own.

Check it out, I used one of the new Spice Cake Buttons and add my embellishment in the middle..this creates a nice frame for it!

I can't wait to show you the other months!

Snow Much Fun

I hope you are having a great day! I'm excited as today is Jenn's workshop and I'm looking forward to stamping with her family and friends. Jenn's parents live in Goderich and if you remember they had F3 tornado go through there in August destroying the town square and many business. 

Jenn asked me if I would be willing to help out with a fundraiser as she would like to donate money to help the town get back up and running.

I have created a Snow Much Fun kit where they are making 5 cards and the best part they get to take the stamp set home. Jenn has planned some fun door prizes for her family to win too.

Stocking Holder

Hello,

I would like to take this time to remember all the soldiers that have fought and are fighting for our county. Thank you for being so brave and fighting for peace around the world!! Please take a few moments to remember these soldiers and to say a prayer for their families.

My project today was inspired by my friend Heather. This was one of the project she did for her Demo Event.

This adorable stocking is actually a gift card holder. You pull up on the top and it reveals a gift card. I'm sorry I totally forgot to take a picture of that.
