Birthday Card

Happy Friday!

I hope you are having a great day! I'm looking forward to the relaxing this weekend and stamping in my studio. I have a few projects that I want to work on.

I wanted to share the other technique we did this month at club. I wanted to show the ladies our new Scented Embossing Powder that we sell. OMG, they are so yummy!!We now have embossing powder that smells like Cherries, Vanilla and Melons.

My project today uses the new Mouthwatering Stamp set, the new Sweet Shoppe DSP and the new scented Cherry Embossing Powder.

OMG, have you seen the Framelits in the Occasions MIni catalogue? They are amazing and they are a must in your paper crafting collection!!! These thin wafer dies lets you see where you are placing the design before you cut them. You can layer inside each other to create a nesting look. MDS- Snow Much Fun

I hope you are having a great day! I'm excited to see the new digital downloads that will be released today! Did you check out last week's downloads? OMG..you need to get the new Twitterpated Kit..it has the new pleated ribbon, button, paper, a 12 by 12 template and a digital brush stamp. I have included a picture for you to see!

I have fun using another template from my friend Heather! This page was perfect for all the SNOW pictures that I had. The girls had fun hanging out with their friend's Sam and Rob one sunny afternoon. They were having so much fun they didn't want to come in!! LOL They had a snow ball fight, made a giant snow ball, and even made a snow club on our deck.

Framelits Storage Idea

I hope you had a great weekend!! Ours was good!

The other day while blog hopping I came across this neat idea on how to store our new Framelits on my friend Di's Blog. 

I love the little storage folder that these come in but I need to figure out a way to keep them from sliding all over the place. I love the idea that Di show us so I have to give it a try. I used our magnets sheets and decorated them with the new Enchantment Designer Series Paper. Now my waffle thin framelits stay in place! Thanks for the inspiration Di!!

Faux Frosting Technique

Hello,

Yesterday was my first class of the year and it felt so good to stamp again with all my club ladies!! There was lots of laughing and chattering going on! This is why I love my job!!!

I wanted to show case some of the fun new products in the Occasions Mini during our class. While blog hopping last week, I came across this cool technique on Barb's blog and knew that I had to show the ladies this WOW technique. Thanks Barb!!

The technique that we learned today was Faux Frosting and it works perfect with the new Sweet Cake Stamp set. For this technique, you mix 1:1 ratio of White Embossing Powder and Dazzling Diamonds in a container. Shake it up good. Stamp your cupcake image. Now using Multipurpose Tombow glue create swirls on the icing part (you want it to look like icing) and then sprinkle your mixed powder on it. Shake off excess powder. Using a Heat Tool, heat the embossing powder mix, when you see the powder start to bubble, take the heat off and let it go down, and they reheat again. Do this a few times till you get the desired look. WOW..is all I have to say as it looks like real frosting!!

Recipe: Early Espresso, Whisper White, and Pool Party card stock, Labels Framelits, Big Shot Machine, Heat Tool Gun, White Embossing Powder, Dazzling Details glitter, Tombow Glue, Sweet Cake stamp set, Lucky Limeade Ribbon, and Sweet Shoppe DSP.

MDS - Snow Page

I hope you had a great day! I had my first class of the year and it was so much fun! The ladies love the new techniques that we learned today and I can't wait to show them too! Then is was off to hockey and I'm finally getting a chance to read my emails and post to my blog!

I had a chance to do some MDSing tonight while we watched the hockey game. My template today comes from my friend Heather. Thank for the inspiration!!

This was our first snowfall of the year. I think we got like 30 cm as it snow all night. The sad thing was it only lasted for a few days as the temperature warmed up and then it melted. Emily was excited to go outside to help shovel and play in the snow with Alison!!

Whoa, it's been a crazy week around here. Between hockey games, field trip to the UWO and a tour of the high school ( yes, my EM goes to high school in the fall), I'm glad that it's Friday! I'm hoping that it will be a some what relaxing weekend, we will have to see!! I do know that I will be doing some stamping in there!!

I love how Stampin' Up brings out new products that coordinates with colours that you might have not used before. I liked the new Incolours when they came out in the summer But since the release of the new Mini...I'm loving the Incolours especially Calypso Coral.

My card today was done using the new stamp set Take it to Heart!

Sweet Cake Gift Bag

I love making gifts that are all in one, meaning the card and gift bag is a set. Yesterday, I had show you a card that I made with the new Sweet Cake stamp set. While that card actually goes with my project today.
