Sending Me Soaring Card

Hello,

Happy Leap Day as these days only come once every 4 years! LOL I had a chance the last two days to do some stamping as I was home with a sick girl. It felt so good to stamp for just the fun of it. I played with new stamps, try new things and made a variety of cards!! I love my job!!

The sun has been shining the last few days, so I was inspired to make this spring like card. I had fun inking up Sending Me Soaring for the first time. Sad, I know as this set is so cute. This spring like set is one that you can use beyond the Spring Season. You can use the clouds and greetings for another projects all year around and the kites can be used to create background borders!! Sets like this are a must in your stamp collection!!

Spice Cake Quilt

Hello,

I hope you are having a great day!! My mother in law is a fabulous quilter and creates the most beautiful quilts ever. When I saw the Spice Cake fabric, I knew that I had to have a runner made for my kitchen table as the colours in the fabric coordinated beautifully with my decor.

When we saw her on the weekend, she had finished it and it's gorgeous. She used 2 packages of fabric to create this Table Runner. She did everything by hand and also created a pattern on the border around the outside.

MDS-Hangin in Seattle

Happy Monday,

I hope you had a great weekend! We had a busy one with hockey. Both girls are in playdowns and playoffs so that makes life crazy around here.

Last night while watching TV, I decided to do a little bit of MDSing. I'm still working on my Alaska book and had fun creating this page. I love the colours in this layout!! My inspiration for my sketch came from my friend Heather!!

The girls had fun hang-in out with Mark (Heather's son) while on the cruise. The nice part was it made our first cruise experience that much better! Thanks Mark and Heather!!

I love these colours together. I used my favourite download Downtown Grunge along with the Nautical DSP. I wanted to keep the layout simple as I wanted to focus on the picture!!

Fresh Vintage

So we didn't get the big snow storm they were calling for but instead we got tons of rain!! Seriously, enough with the rain!!

I wanted to share the last card that we made this month at Technique. It's called Thumping. You stamp your image in a light colour inkpad and then using a darker colour marker, you start thumping it all over. When you stamp your image, you get a two tone image! Very Cool!!

Recipe: Very Vanilla and Lucky Limeade card stock, Everyday Enchantment DSP, Pool Party Seam Binding Ribbon, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Fresh Vintage stamp set, Lucky Limeade ink, Not Quite Navy marker and ink and Tea Shoppe stamp set.

MDS- Friends Layout!

Happy Friday!

Well, they are calling for a big storm today with up to 15 cm snow. I think this will be our first major one of the winter season, we have been very lucky so far! I guess we will have to see what Mother Nature has in store for us!!

I had a chance last night to do some MDSing! I was inspire by a page that my friend Heather did. She did her page traditional and I wanted to recreate it My Digital Studio. Thanks for the inspiration Heather!

Mouthwatering Birthday Card

Hello,

This set brings back childhood memories for me as it has all my favourite things that I love to eat!! One of my favourite things to do and still is, is to have a nice cold Popsicle on a hot day! Two of my favourite flavours are Cherry and Lime. Of course my other favourite is Chocolate!!

I used the new Mouthwatering Stamp set to create this fun birthday card!

Tea Shoppe Friend Card

I hope you had a great long weekend! Ours was filled with hockey, and shopping!!  I even had some time to stamp! One of things that I finally got a chance to try out was our new Paper Doily Die and it's beautiful.

While on Pinterest the other night, I saw this card and knew that I had to CASE it. Thanks for the inspiration Pinterest!!

I used my Simply Score Tool to create the lines on my Wisteria Wonder card stock. I love the look and must do this more often!!

Happy Family Day!

We are so happy to have an extra day off today! We are looking for to hanging out and just relaxing!

This is one of the FREE products that you can earn during Sale a Bration. This cute set is called Sprinkled Expression and you can use it for any occasions. One of my favourite things about Stampin' Up! is everything coordinatesfrom the paper, to the ribbon, to the ink!!

My card today uses the new Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper along with the new yummy Pool Party Seam Binding Ribbon. For an extra detail, I ran my Very Vanilla through the Polka Dot Impression Folder.
