Twelve Weeks of Halloween - Week 4

Hello,

Welcome to week 4 of Twelve weeks of Halloween. Halloween is about about giving treats and you need a super cute gift holder to package those treats.

I was playing with the new Curvy Keepsakes Box Thinlit dies and creating these two Halloween Treat holders. On this box, I stamped the spider web from the Bite Me Photopolymer in Memento Black and then created the box. My tag greeting is from Merry Everything and punch out with the new Note Tag PUnch.

On my second box, I used the Motley Mosters Designer Series paper and stamped my greeting in Versamark and embossed it with Black Embossing Powder.

Happy Friday!

It's bitter sweet as we head into the Labour Day long weekend. The girls and I are sad that our lazy days of summer is almost over but we are looking forward to the rountine that school and hockey brings. I know it's will be busy but I know the girls are looking forward to it!!

I have been busy working on samples and finally I can start showing them to you. One of my top stamp set on my list was the For all Things as I just love the watercolour look!!

My project today was inspired by one that I saw in our latest issue of Stampin' Success. This a bimonthly magazine for demonstrator this is filled with samples, business tips, and so much more!

• Stamp the watercolour image on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock with Sahara Sand.
• Stamp the leaves in Blackberry Bliss over top of the Sahara Sand image
• Add two stripes of Color Me Autumn washi tape
• Using the Crushed Curry marker, colour the word "Hello" and stamp on your Very Vanilla piece just below the washi tape
• Add a Gold Button with a twine bow to your card using glue dots
• Adhere this layer to your card base

Sneak Peak: Bright and Beautiful

Hello,

Only two more days till the release of the Holiday Catalogue! Do you have your wish list ready to go? What is the top things on your list this year??

One of the stamp sets on my top wish list is the new Bright and Beautiful. This new set is stunning!! The details in each of the stars are beautiful!!

I saw a similar idea on pinterest and have to CASE it!! I love the deep richness of the Blackberry Bliss and knew it would look stunning with the silver!!

Come Create with me.....

• Embosss a piece of whisper white card stock ( 4 by 5 1/4) with the Stripes impression folder and the Texture Boutique Machine. TIP: You only want to emboss the top half
• Stamp greeting at the bottom with Blackberry Bliss ink
• Stamp large star and a small star in Blackberry Bliss ink and cut out with the Big Shot Machine and the Star framelits.
• Cut out a silver star with the star framelits and Big Shot Machine.
• Wrap Blackberry Bliss ribbon around the Whisper White card stock and secure the ends.
• Pop up the small star to the medium star and then to the large star. Add this to your layer and then add to card base!

Tuesday Coffee and Cards

Happy Monday!

It's been a busy morning of running errands and appointments. This week's Coffee and Cards class is a variety of occasions cards!!

Join me tomorrow at 10 am or 7pm for Tuesday Coffee and Cards class. In this class, we will be making 3 occasion cards using the Hello There, Work of Art and a sneak peak using the For all Things stamp set. We will be learning new technique while we enjoy coffee, tea and homemade bake goods! The cost of the class is $10 or  FREE with $25 order.

I hope you can join me for this fun class series that I will be offering each Tuesday. It's a great way to learn new techniques, stock up your cards and meet new friends while having fun stamping!! I will be showcasing each card individual on my blog this week!

Sneak Peak: For all Things

Hello,

Sorry for the late post today, it's been a busy day of canning the first batch of spaghetti sauce! I'm happy to say that we got 7 pints jars. While the batch was stewing down, I had some time to create some cards using the For all Things stamp set. 

This was on a must on my wishlist as I just loved the watercolour look! These new products will be available on Aug 28th.

• Using the Color Me Autumn washi tape create stripes across the card alternating the different colours of washi tape on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock ( 4 by 5 1/4)
• stamp the greeting in Blackberry Bliss across the card just above the washi tape
• Add a thread bow to the Gold Basic Metal Buttons and glue this to your card using a glue dot
• Glue this layer on to your card base

Twelve Weeks of Halloween - Week 3

Hello,

Welcome to week 2 of Twelve weeks of Halloween. This week it's about gift boxes! I had a chance to play with my new Gift Box Punch Board. This new punch board will be available in the Holiday Mini that starts on Aug 28.

This boards creates 15 different sizes boxes with the smallest box being 1 3/4 by 1 3/4 by 1 3/4 and the largest size being 4 by 4 by 4. This punch board is so easy to use...just punch and score and volia..you have a super cute gift box!

My Halloween Gift Box measures 4 by 4 by 2 1/2 and is decorated with the Bite Me Photopolymer stamp set!!

Wrap black thread around the Chevron ribbon to secure in place. The black thread is from the upcoming Sept Paper Pumpkin Monthly Kit.

Come Create with me....

• Create desired box size with the Gift Box Punch board
• Stamp Spider web all over Pumpkin Pie card stock with Memento Ink
• Assemble box
• Wrap a Black piece of card stock around the box to create a Belly band ( 2 1/2 by 12)
• Wrap a piece of Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper around the box to create a Belly Band ( 2 by 12)
• Create a tag using the Angled Tag Topper punch ( 2 by 4 1/2)
• Stamp spider web in Smoky Slate ink on to your tag ( 2 by 4 1/2)
• Stamp greeting in Pumpkin Pie ink and Spider in Memento Ink
• Thread Pumpkin Pie Chevron ribbon through tag and secure with a black thread ( from Sept Paper Pumpkin Kit)

Kinda Eclectic Journal

One of the make and takes this year at Inspire,Create,Share Convention was this super cute journal using the Kinda Eclectic stamp set and the Kraft journals. I completed my journal at home after convention and I switched it up a bit.

This journal sits on my desk and is where I jot down all my idea's or supplies that I need to order. Plus it's the perfect size to fit in a purse for your all your to do notes!!

• Stamp dots and greeting from Kinda Eclectic in Blackberry Bliss onto the Kraft journal
• Add White Baker Twine to the Daffodil Delight card stock. Cut ends of Daffodil Delight strip to create a banner look. Pop this up your journal. 
• Stamp Butterfly in Rich Razzleberry and punch out. Pop up on your Daffodil Delight card stock and add rhinestones.

Work of Art - Flower Card

Hello,

I have to say that the Work of Art stamp set is the most versatile set I have seen in awhile. You can use this set to create flowers, boats, flags, christmas tree's, a beach scene and the possibilities are endless.

I wanted to show this set off in club to show the ladies that you can create fun cards with it. I used Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist for my colour combinations.

• Stamp a Hello Honey dot from Work of Art in the center of the whisper white piece of card stock ( 2 3/4 by 2 3/4) 
• Stamp the brush stroke from Work of Art around the Hello Honey dot using Tangelo Twist ink
• Adhere this layer to a piece of Hello Honey Card Stock ( 3 by 3)
• Adhere a piece of Confetti Celebration Designer Series Paper ( 1 3/4 by 5 1/2) to a piece of Hello Honey card stock ( 2 by 5 1/2)
• Adhere to layer to your card base
• Stamp greeting in the bottom with Tangelo Twist ink
