This week over at TGIF Challenge, the challenge is a sketch! I love sketch challenges as it's a mystery just waiting to be solved! I have had a few customers and downline ask me how I chose my stamps, paper and embellishments for a sketch. I explained to them that sometimes, I will just look at the sketch and certain product will pop into my head. Then it's a matter of using those products to create the sketch!!
As soon as I saw this sketch, I thought the Work of Art stamp set would be perfect for the stripes in the background!
Sometimes when I see a shape on a sketch, I think about what greeting I want to use and then find my shape to fit that greeting. I had just finished putting together my new " One Big Meaning" stamp set and thought the "Thank You" would be perfect for this card!!
I knew that I wanted to use the flower from the "You've Got This" stamp set as my main image on my card! I just love the watercolour look behind my flower!!
I stamped the watercolour image in Daffodil Delight ink and then my flower in Black Memento Ink. I love the striking colour combo of black and yellow. Did you know that this combo is very trendy right now??
Now it's your turn to try this sketch challenge. Head over to TGIF to see all the details, I can't wait to see what you create!!!
