A few weeks ago, my friend Tammy asked me to join her Cookie exchange and I was so excited I had to say "Yes." I have not done a cookie exchanges in a few year, and I love baking so I thought it would be fun to do. I love that you come home with a variety of yummy goodies.
For this cookie exchange, I found a new recipe on Pinterest to try out called "Santa's Cookies". They had my favourite ingredient in them...M&M's.
When I was getting ready to package them up, I knew that I wanted a fun way to present them. I knew that I had a few of the Petite Cafe Gifts Bags and thought they would be fun to dress up for the holidays!
I used the music notes pattern from the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper to create my banner in the background. Then using the Lot's of Framelits and Big Shot, I cut out a label in the Kraft Corrugated Paper and smaller label in Very Vanilla card stock. I stamped my greeting from Cozy Christmas in Mossy Meadow onto my very vanilla label and adhere it to my corrugated card stock.
I embellished my tag with the Reindeer Clip and added a red nose using the Home for Christmas Enamel Dots. Then I closed the bag with our clothespin decorated in the stripe pattern from the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper along with a Pom-Pom ribbon.
So do you love to bake? What is your favourite holiday recipe that you make every year? I would love to know as I'm always on the look out for new ones to add to my collection!!
