Onstage Gifts for Downline

I recently had the opportunity to attend the Onstage Local event in Toronto. I was so excited as I had 10 of my lovely team members there with me!! I wanted to let you them know I was so proud of them and the I love having them on my team!

I don't know about you but I love to snack while I'm crafting and my favourite thing to munch on is Chocolate!! So I thought it would be fun to create a little gift with a variety of chocolate it in!!

I filled a mason jar with Cabury Mini Eggs, Lindor Eggs and a Golden Lindor Bunny!! These are my favourite things at Easter time!!

I used the "You are Amazing" greeting from the All Things Thanks stamp set for my topper. I stamped the image in Versamark, then sprinkled on Silver Embossing Powder and then heat set it with my Heat Gun! I love how sparkly this topper is!! I used the Layering Circle Collection framelits and my favourite tool the Big Shot machine to cut the circles and scallop circle!!

To finish off my mason jar, I used a piece of fabric to create a little skirt for the lid, and then tied some Melon Mambo Ribbon around the lid of the jar. I attached a banner to let them know that they are the Egg-Stra Special. My greeting and the eggs are from the Basket Bunch stamp set. This is a MUST in your collection for your spring projects!! It's the perfect stamp set as it has a matching basket bunch framelit to go with it. And the sad news..it's retiring at the end of May! So don't wait to long...get your's before it's gone for good!

For you Fry Box

Each month at work, I teach a variety of projects to my students in a Scrapbooking Club. We do four projects: 2 card, a 3D item and a scrapbook layout. Each session is 4 weeks and we rotate between the grades starting with the grade 4's. We are on our last month with the7/8's and I'm looking forward to showing them the beautiful art of papercrafting!!

Last month, I taught the grade 6's how to make this adorable treat holder using the Fry Box Die. I'm really sad to see this die on the retiring list and have to admit that I'm going to hold onto my mine so that I can make some great treat holders when I do craft shows in the fall!!

I gave my students the option of creating a tag that read "For You" or "Happy Mother's Day". We used the Birthday Bloom stamp set for the For you tag and the "World's Best Mother" greeting from the A Nice Cuppa stamp set.

Of course we had to filled the treat holder with some yummy chocolates!! We used the 4 by 6 cello bags and filled them with 3 Lindor Chocolates. Our tag was made with the note tag punch, the birthday blooms stamp set and they we finished it off with Bermuda Bay Stitched Ribbon!

I used the following Products that are Retiring at the end of May on my project:

  • Fry Box
  • Shine on Shine Designer Series Paper
  • Note Tag Punch
  • 4 by 6 Cello Bags
  • A Nice Cuppa Stamp set

There are still lots of great product still available on the Retiring List and you have till May 31 to order your favourites before they are gone for good!! You can view them all here. I'm sad to say that the A Nice Cuppa stamp set and framelits are already sold out!!

High Five Treat Holder

Happy Monday!!

I hope you had a great day! It was a sad one around here as we all headed back to work and school after our week off. There was a lot of "do I have to go today, can't I stay home" conversations this morning! The good thing is it's a short week and we only have 3 more days left!! LOL

My project today is one that I CASE from Sara Douglass, our Interim CEO at Stampin' Up! Sara showed us this fabulous project on her Facebook page. She shared with us that she had made these to hand out to employees after their meeting with them. What a nice way to show your friends that you appreciate all the hard work they do for your company!!

DSC_0080 copy

I actually shared this project with my principal, and he loved it! So I made 25 of these for him to hand out to the staff in their mailbox. He wrote messages on all of them, and then we assemble them and handed them out! The staff all LOVED their surprises that waited for them in that morning!! Thanks for the inspiration Sara!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Thank you Treat Bag

Happy Monday!!

I hope you are having a great start to your week!! It's been a busy one around here with a dentist appointment this morning, and then running some long over due errands!!

Today's project is a fun treat bag that you can make to give to family and friends!! The neat thing about making these bags is watching your friend's face light up with a smile when you hand it to them!!

My sweet treat package was given to me by my downline Lisa. Lisa needed some help with a few business things and I sat down to help her out and before we began she gave me this sweet package!! Thanks for brightening my day Lisa!!

Polka Dot Cone Treat Holders

Last week at our Bingo night, I wanted to surprise all the ladies with a little pillow gift at their spot to let them know how much I appreciate them!!

When I saw the new Polka Dot Cone Cellophane Bags, I knew it would make the perfect pillow gift. Really, who doesn't love a little chocolate treat especially when they are M&M's!!

These little gems came together very quickly! First, I filled the Polka Dot Cones with M&M's and tied them with  the Whisper White Satin Ribbon.

I punched out a 2 3/8 scallop circle in Daffodil Delight and then a 2" circle in Whisper White. I stamped my greeting from Suite Saying in Watermelon Wonder onto my Whisper White circle and then adhere it to my Scallop Circle. Then using a 1/4" circle Handheld punch, I punch a hole near the top and threaded my ribbon thru and finished off my package with a bow. Quick and easy but oh so cute and a great little pillow gift surprise!!
