Wow, I'm not sure where yesterday went. Many times during the day, I thought I must post to my blog and then I got busy doing something and never got to it. Sorry about that!!

I have been working on having samples ready for my retiring sale, and was searching on Stampin' Connection for some inspiration. I saw this fun card made by Erica Cerwin and knew that I had to CASE it.Thanks for the inspiration Erica!!

Today is holiday here in Canada as we celebrate Victoria Day! Today we honour Queen Victoria! The sun is shining and it's going to be another gorgeous day!

Butterfly Card

I hope you are having a great day! This past week I had the chance to stamp with some fabulous ladies at my Retiring Class. We had so much fun!! This class was a great way to showcase all the products that are retiring in a few weeks as each card focus on something different!!

 I absolutely love this card! This was one of the favourites with the ladies also!!

This is what I plan on doing this weekend, is enjoying my deck. It's suppose to be a warm and sunny weekend and I can't wait. The best part its a long weekend here in Canada!! The first long weekend of the summer!!

Grunge Rock

Hi!!

Do you ever look at a stamp set and think I should get that one? Well, I have looked at this set many times throughout the year, thinking I should order it. Then the retiring list comes out and its on there. So now comes the decision..do I get it OR pass it by, knowing that I might not be able to in the future.

Well, my decision was made the other night when I made this super fun card with my friend Heather. As I was stamping, I was thinking...this set would be perfect for my nieces and nephews. So, I'm happy to say that it made it onto my order and I can't wait to make some cards with it! Thanks for the inspiration Heather!!

Creative Elements Birthday Card- Embossed Kisses Technique

I hope you had a great weekend. Sorry for not posting yesterday but I ended up coming down with the flu late Saturday night. So I spent Mother's Day on the couch feeling yucky. The girls were so sad, as they got up early to make me breakfast in bed. I told them they could celebrate it next weekend when I was feeling better. I'm feeling better today, thank goodness!!

I wanted to share the card that we made this month at Technique Club. We learned the Embossed Kisses technique. This is so cool!!

First you ink up a solid image stamp, then ink up an embossing folder. I used the negative side for my project. Now press the stamp firmly into the embossing folder and lift the stamp. You now have transfer the image from the embossing folder onto your stamp. Stamp your image onto your project, press firmly to transfer the image. How cool is that!!

Simply Butterfly Card

Hello,

Yippee, it's Friday! The weather is suppose to be gorgeous all weekend and I'm so looking forward to hanging out on my deck! I know we have some garden work to do but after that I plan on reading some magazines in the sunshine! I also plan on stamping with my new goodies!!

Petitie Purse Die

I'm so excited about the new Petite Purse die that is part of the new Summer Smooches collection. This new die is available right now for the month of April as a sneak peak.
