Spice Cake Quilt

Hello,

I hope you are having a great day!! My mother in law is a fabulous quilter and creates the most beautiful quilts ever. When I saw the Spice Cake fabric, I knew that I had to have a runner made for my kitchen table as the colours in the fabric coordinated beautifully with my decor.

When we saw her on the weekend, she had finished it and it's gorgeous. She used 2 packages of fabric to create this Table Runner. She did everything by hand and also created a pattern on the border around the outside.

Spice Cake Family Frame

First I have to say a big thank you to all the ladies that came out for my Family Frame class last night. I had the best time stamping and laughing with you! I have to tell you that we laugh so hard that we were crying!! Thanks Dawn Marie and Denise for sharing your stories with us!!!

I had so much fun creating this fun family with my favourite suite Spice Cake! My frame is a 10 by 10. We used the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper, Spice Cake Button, and the yummy Spice Cake Fabric!!

This is one frame that I will cherish for years to come!!

Spice Cake Cork Board

I'm so excited as today is my Holiday Mini Open house and I can't wait to show you all the wonderful products that I have been creating. You can stop by anytime from 2 pm to 7pm, there will be tons of displays, class samples,make and takes, munchies and a new product line will be reveal that we are launching in October. I hope you can join us!!

My inspiration for my project today came from Convention. Donna show us how to make this while on main stage. I knew that I wanted to recreate this with my favourite Spice Cake Fabric!!

I used our fabric to decorate a piece of 12 by 12 cork. Then I add 1/8" Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon along with our new yummy Spice Cake Buttons! I used the Gently Falling stamp set to create the leaves in the corner and my greeting is from the new Hostess set called Warmest of Wishes (in the Holiday Mini). The best thing about this project, there was no sewing involved!!

I'm super excited to see all my friends this weekend at the annual Scrap and Crop Weekend Event. I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones! I spent last night setting up and I can't wait to show you my new displays for shows!!

It's Holiday Mini Time!!!

Yahoo, it's Holiday Mini time!! This new Holiday Mini is jammed pack with lots of exciting new product that I can't wait to show on my blog and in upcoming classes. I have been busy designing lots of fun classes using products from the Mini!!

While searching some blogs the other day, I came across a similar design on Dawn's blog. I used the basic sketch to create this fun card!! Now I used the same colour scheme and add the button to make it my own!!

Of course, I had to use my favourite product suite from the Holiday Mini..Spice Cake!! One of my goals is to use more of the fabric in my classes. Now, I don't sew, so I wanted to show my customers how you can use the fabric in other ways!!
