Jingle All the Way

Hello,

I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and that Santa was good to you!! We had a fabulous day that was filled with lots of fun memories. One of my favourite parts is watching the girls open their presents and watching their reactions as they discover what was inside it!! These moments are priceless!!

I have another card to share with you from our technique class. This was the other card that we made with the Salt Technique. I found this card on pinterest and fell in love with it and knew that I had to CASE it!!

This card uses the Sleigh Ride Edgelits and the Jingle all the Way stamp set. Unfortunately, these products are both sold out as they were so popular.

Twas the Night Before Christmas....

Hello,

It's finally here...Christmas Eve! I can't believe that we are only hours away from one of the most magical day in the year!! We are already and I can't wait to spend the next few days with my family and friends!!

My project today is a CASE from my bestie out west!! When I saw this card on Allison's blog, I knew that I had to recreate it for my Technique Class this month. The ladies loved learning a different way of doing the Salt Technique which creates amazing backgrounds. Thanks for the inspiration Allison!!

IMG_4212

I think my favourite part about this card is the skyline!! Wondering where the buildings are from? You can find them in the Calling all Heroes stamp set.

IMG_4214

Santa is flying through the town on his way to deliver Christmas cheer to everyone around the world!! The Santa image is from the Cozy Christmas stamp set. Did you notice the fun background....the is done using the Salt Technique. So cool and simply easy to do!!

Salt Technique Instructions:

Using the clear block size of your choice, apply ink to the
block by dabbing the ink pad onto the block. Be sure to work
from lightest to darkest ( Lost Lagoon, Island Indigo and Night of Navy)
Spritz the block several times with water. “Stamp” block onto
watercolour paper. Before the paper becomes dry, sprinkle
some salt on the paper and spritz paper with water.
Allow to dry ( you can use a heat tool to speed up this process).
Brush off sale and embellish as desired.

From my family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! I wish you a safe and happy holiday with your family and friends!!

Happy Stampin'

Cookie Gift Exchange

Hello,

A few weeks ago, my friend Tammy asked me to join her Cookie exchange and I was so excited I had to say "Yes." I have not done a cookie exchanges in a few year, and I love baking so I thought it would be fun to do. I love that you come home with a variety of yummy goodies.

For this cookie exchange, I found a new recipe on Pinterest to try out called "Santa's Cookies". They had my favourite ingredient in them...M&M's.

IMG_4073

When I was getting ready to package them up, I knew that I wanted a fun way to present them. I knew that I had a few of the Petite Cafe Gifts Bags and thought they would be fun to dress up for the holidays!

IMG_4079

I used the music notes pattern from the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper to create my banner in the background. Then using the Lot's of Framelits and Big Shot, I cut out a label in the Kraft Corrugated Paper and smaller label in Very Vanilla card stock. I stamped my greeting from Cozy Christmas in Mossy Meadow onto my very vanilla label and adhere it to my corrugated card stock.

IMG_4080

I embellished my tag with the Reindeer Clip and added a red nose using the Home for Christmas Enamel Dots. Then I closed the bag with our clothespin decorated in the stripe pattern from the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper along with a Pom-Pom ribbon.

IMG_4081

So do you love to bake?  What is your favourite holiday recipe that you make every year? I would love to know as I'm always on the look out for new ones to add to my collection!!

You can find all the supplies used for this project at the bottom of this post and and you will also find them in my Canadian Online Store!!

New items have been added to the Year End Sale and you can check them out here. You will be able to find the Reindeer Clips on sale along with the Pom-Pom ribbon trim. Remember these are while supplies last!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your evening!!

Peaceful Pines CASE

Happy Monday!!

I was going through my pictures and realized I have a few that I didn't share with you yet. One of my favourite things to do is recreate the samples in our catalogues. The concept Artists at Stampin' Up! does a fabulous job creating these samples to showcase the product and their samples are always over the top. One thing on my bucket list is to spend a day with this team and see how they create the samples for the catalogues and process behind creating our product, oh what a fun day that will be!! I will keep dreaming until the day happens....

My project today is one that I CASE from the Holiday Catalogue ( page 16) featuring the Perfect Pines stamp set and matching framelits. One thing that I notice these days is watercolouring is HUGE and very trendy. I had to admit, this is something I don't do very often, but would love to learn more and starting adding this to my projects!

Cc19

I think this was one of my favourite cards that I made this year. I love all the extra details and the soft watercolouring shown behind the trees!! Thanks Stampin' Up! for the inspiration!!

You can find all the supplies used for this project at the bottom of this post and and you will also find them in my Canadian Online Store!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!!

Silent Night Christmas Card

Hello,

On the weekend we had our first snowfall of the year! Now it wasn't a lot of snow but enough to cover the tree's and ground. Sure made it look like a Winter Wonderland!! When I first looked outside on Sunday morning, I saw how peaceful the morning looked with snow on the ground and on the tree's around us.

DSC_0245

I stamped the tree's from the Wonderland stamp set in Smoky Slate and my Santa and his team in Night of Navy. I really like the colour combination of Night of Navy, Smoky Slate and whisper white, reminds me of the frosted mornings of a fresh fallen snow!!

This year Holiday Catalogue is FABULOUS and there are so many amazing products in it.  I have so many favourites that it's hard to list them all. LOL. Last week Stampin' Up announced that many of the products in this catalogue will be retiring on January 4, 2016. Some items are while supplies last, I would suggest ordering your favourites before they are gone for good!!

Jolly Christmas!!

Hello,

It sure feels more like the festival season around here today. It started snowing last night after supper and continue into the night. When we woke up this morning it was a winter wonderland. I have to say "I really like the look of it, but just don't like driving in it!"

Now that the festival season is just around the corner, it's time to take some time for yourself to stamp your holiday projects, create your DIY gifts or finish your Christmas cards. You can find tons of inspiration on stampin blogs, Pinterest, or magazines. And it's okay if you CASE ( Copy and Share Everything) as designers are honored when you do that.  Just remember to give credit if you remember where you saw it.

My card today was a CASE from my friend Krista from Stampin' Dolce. Krista share this card on her blog and when I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for my last Christmas Stamp a Stack. I really wanted to keep these cards simple, incase my customers wanted to mass produce them for their holiday cards!!

DSC_0246

I love the crazy dots in the background, they just add some much fun and brightness to the card! And I'm not sure about you, but I can't get enough of the Snowflake Elements, and I can tell you guys like them to, as they have been on backorder forever! Good news, they are expecting shipments soon!!

And the best part, is you can purchase the Jolly Christmas stamp set ( wood mount only) as part of this weeks weekly deals. Remember these deals are only available till tomorrow!
