Sparkly and Bright - Stamping 411 Sketch 207

Hello,

It feels so good to stamp!! I finally had a chance to create in my stamp room. The best part was I was just stamping for fun!! I decided to play along with this weeks sketch over at Stamping 411. I love participating in sketches as it makes you think outside your creative zone and it's a good place to start for you projects!!

I thought this week I would show you some of my favourite products that are retiring!! Remember you only had till June 30th to order your favourites before they are gone for good!!

So today, I'm sharing one of my favourite Christmas set Sparkly and Bright.  I don't think I will be letting this one go...way too cute!! Also, I have to say that this was my favourite Christmas Designers Series Paper. I love Holly Jolly DSP!!!

It's hard to tell from the photo, but I put Crystal Effects on his nose.

Recipe: Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White card stock, Scallop Border Punch, Jewellery Tag Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Sparkly and Bright stamp set, Holly Jolly DSP, Tiny Tags stamp set, and Crystal Effects.

Stamping 411 Sketch 203

Hello Stampers,

Well it's a rainy day here and it's a great day to stamp!! I had fun this afternoon creating some fun projects to share with you!

I decided to play along with this week's sketch over at Stamping 411. I have been looking at this stamp for awhile now and I was excited when one of my customers lend me hers. Thanks Dianna!! I'm talking about the Have a Seat stamp set. After creating some fun projects with it, I might just have to get it. LOL

Recipe: Soft Suede, Kraft and Very Vanilla card stock, Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon, Have a Seat stamp set, Aviary stamp set, Soft Suede Brads, and Elegant Soiree DSP.

Sew Sweet- Stamping 411 Sketch #200

Hello,

I had a chance last night to play along with this weeks sketch over at Stamping 411. They are celebrating their 200 sketch!! Wow, that is amazing...thanks for the inspiration ladies!!!

As I continue to show you some of my favourite products from the Occasions Mini, I thought it would be fun to use the Sew Suite line. This fun line is every sewers dream!! From buttons, to pom - pom trim, to fabric to stamps, there is something for everyone!!

One of my favourite products is the Designer Series Paper. I love the bright fun patterns in it!

Recipe: Wild Wasbi, Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla card stock, Sew Suite stamp set, Basic Rhinestones, Sweet Stitches DSP, Scallop Border Punch, Melon Mambo Pom Pom Trim, Just Believe stamp set, and Black ink.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but I paper pieced the dress. First I stamp the image onto the DSP, and then I cut them out.

On the Green- Stampin 411 Sketch Challenge

I have to tell you that yesterday we had SNOW!! Yes, it snow in the morning and by mid day it was gone. I don't know about you but I hope Spring is around the corner soon!! I'm tired of this cold weather!!!

I had a chance on the weekend to play along with this weeks sketch challenge over at Stamping 411. I decided to use the new On the Green stamp set. This stamp is part of the A La Carte collection. When I was looking for some colour inspiration, I turned to my handy Colour Coach. I decided to go with Crumb Cake, Always Artichoke and Bashful Blue!!

Recipe: Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue, Whisper White and Always Artichoke card stock, Decorative Label Punch, Party this Way stamp set, On the Green stamp set, Always Artichoke ink, Square Lattice IMpression folder and the Big Shot.

Totally Tool - Sketch Challenge 196

Note: I'm so excited as my card was pick as the Operator Picks for Sketch Challenge #196. Thank you ladies!!!

I hope you are having a great day!! Last night I had a chance to play along with this weeks Stamping 411 sketch. This sketch was perfect as I was working on samples for my upcoming classes. 

My youngest daughter Alison loves to stamp with me. She loves to go through the catalogue and pick out goodies to add to her wish list. I thought I would surprise her by ordering this set for her. I thought it would be perfect for this week's sketch!!

The set that I used was Totally Tool...it's a great set for the men in our lives!!! I used a blender pen and my watercolour crayons to colour in my tools as I want them to have a softer look to it then it I had used markers.

Recipe: Pacific Point, Black, Whisper White and Basic Grey card stock, Basic Grey pattern paper, Black brads, Totally Tool stamp set, Watercolour Crayons, Blender Pen, Basic Grey Satin Ribbon, 1/2" Circle Punch. Jewellery Tag Punch, Party this way set, and linen thread.

411 Sketch Challenge 193

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a great weekend! Yesterday, I had a chance to play along with this week's sketch challenge over at Stamping 411. I love participating in sketches as they make you think outside your creative zone!!

I don't know about you but I'm hoping that Spring is just around the corner. Yesterday the sun was shining and I was inspired to make this Spring Card!! I used the new Level 1 Hostess stamp set called " slice of LIfe!"

Also, I used last week's colour challenge from Stamping 411. The colours were Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise and Rich Razzleberry!! These colour shout "Spring to me!!"

Recipe: Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White card stock, Large Oval Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Rich Razzleberry Ribbon, A slice of Life stamp set, Tempting Turquoise Pattern paper, Tempting Turquoise and Rich Razzleberry ribbon.

Bliss - 411 Sketch Challenge

Hello,

I decided to play along again with this week's Sketch Challenge over at Stamping 411. I love participating in sketches as it makes me think outside my creative zone!!

I used my favourite stamp set from the Sale A Bration MIni called "Bliss". The colours that I used were River Rock, Early Espresso and Pacific Point....how yummy are those colours!!

The background was done with the Polka Dot Folder and the Big Shot machine. Then I decided to distress it  with River Rock ink!! I love how this card turned out!!

Recipe: Early Espresso, and River Rock card stock, Early Espresso Pattern paper, Early Espresso Taffeta ribbon, Bliss stamp set, Pacific Point, River Rock and Early Espresso ink and Rhinestones.

Sew Suite -- Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge

On the weekend, I had fun stamping for the fun of it!! It felt so great to just stamp!! I decided to check out some of my favourite challenges on line. My friend Tiffany along with some other demonstrator's host the Stamping 411 blog and this week it was a sketch challenge. I decided to play along!!

Simply Sketch #5

Hello,

I had to say that these are not my usually colours. One of my co-workers loves to shop. When I saw the stamp set Things I love, I knew that I had to make her a set of cards using this set. Her favourite things to shop for are shoes, and clothing!! One day as we were talking I asked her what her favourite colours were. She replied" Bright Green, Purple and Black""

Well, I took this as a challenge and came up with this card. Now, as I said" These are not colours I would  normally use, but they do look great together. They are Gable Green, Lovely Lilac and Black.

So I gave the cards to my coworker on Monday and she loved them!! Actually she screamed with delight as she was so excited..she favourite part was the shoes, the shopping bag and the chocolate images.

My inspiration for the sketch came from the Simply Sunday sketch on Heather's Blog.
