No Bones About It- Birthday Card

Today, I'm sharing with you one of the projects that we made last month in our Simply Occasions Class. I'm loving the new Incolours and can't get enough of the Emerald Envy. It's reminds me of my Irish background and the beautiful colours in the that county!! Oh, how I hope that Stampin' Up! will have an Incentive Trip there in the near future!! Now trust me, that is one trip the whole family will be going on!!!

My card uses a layout that I saw on my friend Erica's blog. I really liked the layout that she used on her going places card and thought it would be fun to give it a try.

 

I used the No Bones about it stamp for my project today. My goal when creating cards is to mix old stamp set in with new product. Plus, I thought it would be great to have some masculine cards on hand for my stash!!

To create my dinosaurs, I only used the Emerald Envy ink pad. For the solid image, I inked my stamp in Emerald Envy and stamped off a few times so I would have a softer tone. Then using the xray image, I stamped in Emerald Envy in full strength so it looks stronger on the image. I love how it turned out!!

I used one of my favourite framelits on this project the Swirly Scribbles. These framelits are a MUST in your collection as you can use them on any theme or occasions!!
