Happy Saturday!!
Did you know that Pineapples are hot and trendy right now? I had no idea till I saw tons of window displays with pineapples and flamingo while we were walking the streets of Cannes in France!!
Plus there was tons of swaps cards on display in the hospitality room on the Incentive trip that used the Pop of Paradise stamp set and the Pineapple stamp set. So of course, when I got home, I had to order the new single Pineapple stamp in the Annual Catalogue.
When I was designing my classes for July, I knew that I wanted to showcase this stamp set as one of my cards. I decided it would make a fun "Thank you" card.
I thought the leaves of my pineapple needed some dimension. So I stamped an extra set of leaves in Emerald Envy ( I love this new colour!!) and fussy cut them out with my paper snips. Once I had the leaves the way that I like them, I add a few dimensionals and pop them up onto my leaves.
My greeting came together fairly quickly as I used the Thoughtful Banner stamp set and matching Duet Banner punch. I stamp the banner image in Early Espresso onto a piece of Crushed Curry card stock and then stamp the greeting with Early Espresso ink. Once I was done, I used the new Duet Banner to punch it out and then add it to the card with some dimensionals.
I think this would make a great thank you card to give to a family or friend as your way of saying thank you for a great summer event!!
The colour combination that I used was Early Espresso, Emerald Envy, Crushed Curry and Whisper White. I love the richness of this colour combo!!
Interesting in knowing what I used on this card, you can see all the supplies that I used in this project in the clickable links below.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
