I'm so excited to finally have the chance to participate in this amazing blog hop with my fellow Mediterranean Achiever Demonstrator's from around the world!! This month our theme is the Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peek. We are so excited to show you these amazing BRAND NEW products that you will be able to purchase starting September 1st 2016.
You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Anne Granger or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Anne's blog.
My project that I created for today's blog was a designed around the new Spooky Fun Bundle ( Spooky Fun stamp set and Halloween Scenes Framelits) and the Halloween Scares stamp set!
My card was designed around the background. I was in the process of creating a few samples for an upcoming technique class and as soon as I had created the background, I knew that I wanted to create a Spooky Halloween Card!
My background was created with a variety of ink and sponges. First, I sponge a piece of Whisper White card stock with Daffodil Delight ink. Then I added some Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie ink to the middle with my sponges. With each colours, I would add a new layer of ink and then go back with the previous colour to help blend it all in together. I finally added some Cherry Cobbler ink to the top and then once again, worked at blending all the colours together till I was happy with the finally results!! The best part about this background was I created a moon mask, by punching out a 1 3/4 circle from Whisper White and then adding a piece of tape to the back and adhering it to your background. Then I sponged around the Moon with my colours, then when I removed the mask, I had a beautiful full moon!!
To finish off my card, I used the Halloween Scenes Edgelits, to create my spooky tree and the pumpkins. I stamped the Haunted House from the Halloween Scares stamp set in Memento ink and then fussy cut it out. I also stamp the witch from the Spooky Fun stamp set and cut it out with the matching witch edgelit dies. The last detail that I added was a little bit of ink splatter to the background as it helped create that spooky feeling!!
Thanks for stopping by our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Remember that currently you are at here at Anne's blog, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

Oh Anne - that sponged sky is so rich and saturated. What a great card! That background could work for Fall, or Hallowe'en or Thanksgiving or masculine or anything elegant and intense. Love it!
Hope Labour Day and back to school went well in your household. God Bless, Cynthia <><
