Happy Friday!
Sorry for being MIA the last few weeks. Last week was busy with 4 events back to back and this week I have been prepping for my big Demonstrator Training Event. I'm a little excited and nervous at the same time as this is the first time I have ever done one. I have been stamping like crazy and I can't wait to share with you!!!
One of the projects that I worked on was a this Nugget Holder for my Team Training Event last week. I wanted to give them a little thank you gift for spending the day with me!!!
I fell in LOVE with last month's Paper Pumpkin monthly kit called One in a Melon. I love the fresh feeling of summer!! I love the pattern in the Note cards so much that I decided it would make a great wrapper for my Chocolate Nuggets.
I cut my notecard paper to 1" by 3" and wrapped them around the chocolate nugget and secured the wrapper in place with our tear and tape adhesive. Once I had them all wrapped in pattern paper, I placed 5 in our 2" by 8" Cello bags. These bags are the perfect size for this!!
Of course, I had to top it off with a cute topper. I used the watercolour square from the Paper Pumpkin kit as my background. Using the 2 1/2" circle punch, I punch out a circle in Whisper White. Then using the stamp set from the One in a Melon stamp set, I stamped the word "Sweet" in Melon Mambo, and the watermelon rim in Emerald Envy. Now, I wanted a little bit of white showing at the bottom of the circle. Then I stamped the greeting in Emerald Envy and pop this onto my watercolour square. Next I tied it to my cello bag with the Melon Mambo Twine that came in the kit.
The ladies really liked them and most of them were surprise to learn where the pattern paper came from!! LOL..I love when I can show them alternate ways to use their projects!!
