Hello,
While searching for different idea's on ways to use the Embossing Paste, I saw a tutorial where she used the our Embossing Folders to create texture in the embossing paste. I was thinking "Will that will work" Of, course I had to give it a try!
I first cut out a large circle using our thick Whisper White card stock, the big shot machine, the magnetic platform and the Layering Circle Framelits.
For the embossing paste, I mixed a few drops of Bermuda bay re-inker into my embossing paste and mixed the paste till I had the colour that I wanted. Once, I had the colour that I was looking for, I apply the paste to my circle, making sure to add paste to the whole circle.
Using the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, I open the folder and press half of the folder into the paste and press down on the folder to ensure that the emboss images would transfer to my paste. Pull up the folder and voila, you now have the seaside embossing folder images in your paste. Let dry for about 10 mins before adding to your project!!
I kept my card simply as I wanted to focus on the technique on this card. My leaves behind the flamingo are leftover leaves from the June Paper Pumpkin kit called "One in Melon". I love when you can use our kits on your everyday projects!!
I have listed all the supplies that I have used for you at the bottom of this post, and the best part is that you can either click on the clickable images, or the supply list PDF.
