Today is the day, the last day of the 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue. We are only a few hours away till we switch over to the new 2016-2016 Annual Catalogue. But you still have time to order your favourites before they are gone for good!! Your have till 11:50 mountain time to place your finally order from this catalogue. I know that I will miss many of my favourites from this catalogue especially the retiring Incolours!!

Mix of Old and New Card

Hello,

One of the things that I love is learning new tips and tricks from my Downline when they present at our monthly downline meeting. This month for our demonstrations, we had the chance to learn new tips and tricks using some of the new product from the New Catalogue. As a demonstrator, we are able to order a selection of new product that we can showcase in our business before the new catalogue goes live on June 1st. If you love to browse blogs, I'm sure you have seen tons of new product samples out there.

One of my good friends Heather showed case some of the new products from the Affectionately Yours Suite. This new suite is about Florals and Copper!! Yes..copper..you are going to LOVE the new Copper Embossing powder!!

The cool thing about this card is the Heather mixed a little bit of old with a little bit of new. The old product leaving us on May 31th is the Cucumber Crush Laced Ribbon. I'm going to miss this ribbon as it was so easy to work with, meaning it was perfect for making bows with!!

The new product highlight on this card is the following: Love and Affection Stamp set, the Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper, and the Floral Affection Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Sassy Salutations CASE

Hello,

I love when the retiring list makes you go through your stamp sets and helps you fell in LOVE with your "OLD" favourites!! I have to say that this is one of my one favourites and sadly it has not seen ink in along time. This is a struggle that I have and I'm sure I'm not alone on this one. A new catalogue comes out and we use mostly products from that book but we forget about our favourites from the Annual Catalogue. Has this happen to you?? I know I'm guilty of it big time!!

This is a new goal for me when the new Annual catalogues comes out...to use products from both the Annual and mini catalogue each week!! This way you are still using products in both catalogues and not forgetting about our favourites!!

My project today is a CASE from my friend Erica from Pink Buckaroo Designs!! I'm a huge fan of her work and can't wait to meet her next month on the Mediterranean Cruise!! Thanks for the inspiration Erica!!

 

Another favourite that is leaving us is the Shine on Shine Designer Series Paper! I love the kraft paper with the silver foil designs on the one side!! I really hope there will be a new collection like this in the new book!!

Lovely as a Tree Birthday Card

Happy Monday!

Did you know that you can use your framelits as stencils? I love when you find new ways of using your tool other then what they are intended for. One of the new class series that I have added to my monthly schedule is a Framelit Frenzy class. Each month we create two cards using framlits as stencils and each customer goes home with a stencil template to add to their key ring!

This month we focus on the circle framelits, as there is so much you can do with this set. The first thing that came to mind is to use the circle framelit as a template for a moon. Of course, I had to pair the Lovely as a tree stamp set with it!!

 

I'm sad to say that the Circle Framelits and the Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper are both on the retiring list and will be leaving us at the end of May. I'm sad about the framelits leaving as I used them a lot on my projects!!. You can view all the products leaving us here! Remember these are while supplies last and some items are already sold out!!

Retiring Incolours..Stock Up before the Last Chance List is Reveal!!

I hope you are having a great weekend!! The sun is finally shining here with nice warm temperatures..which is so nice for a change!! It feels good to be able to go outside in a t shirt, capri's and sandals!!

Tomorrow is the big day when Stampin' Up! announces the Last Chance list, meaning they will be listing on the stamp set and accessories that will be leaving us at the end of May. Now, remember these are while supplies last, so you want to order early to avoid missing out on your favourites!!

I can tell you that my friends that have seen the new catalogue says "It's amazing....What has 377 new products? 458 stamp sets?
175 new tools and accessories? 480 creative samples? 212 pages? So you can imagine with all this new product, that A LOT of items will be retiring!! Only one more sleep till we find out!!

The first thing to always go is the retiring incolours! I would suggest taking a look at your current investment and see what you need to protect your investment. Do you have refills for your inkpads, are you good with your markers, do you have card stock of your favourite colours? These are the items I would suggest stocking up on!!

I'm so sad to sad good-bye to Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist, Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadows and Lost Lagoon!

Flowering Fields- Only 5 days left of Sale-a-Bration

Can you believe that there is only 5 days left of this year's Sale a Bration?? Where did those 3 months go? They just flew by!! As I said " You only have 5 days left to take advantage of the Sale a Bration Promotion and earn a your FREE products!"

I'm sharing one of my favourite stamp set from the Sale a Bration flyer. I'm not really a flower person, but I do love this stamp set called "Flowering Fields{!! I decided to create a card set using this stamp set and the retiring Incolours that will be leaving us at the end of May.

I paired the Retiring Incolour with the matching designer series paper. If you are looking to match your paper with your ink, I would recommend investing in the designer series paper pack as you would also have a pattern paper to match your ink and card stock!!

There are a few colours that I will miss from this collection and really hope that Stampin' Up! will add them into our regular card collection!! Those colours are: Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon and Mossy Meadows.

Here are each of the cards close up. My favourite colour is Blackberry, I love how rich this colour is!! I love it paired with Crumb Cake!!

Next up is Lost Lagoon! This colour is great for masculine cards!

Next is Tangelo Twist! I love how bright and cheery this card is!

Next is Hello Honey! This colour is great for flowers!

And last is Mossy Meadows. This is another colour that I will miss as it's a gorgeous green for Holiday season!

If you have any of the 2014-206 incolours, I would suggest protecting your investment. Meaning, check to make sure you have re-inkers for your inkpads, that you are stock up on your markers, card stock, ribbon and don't forget your designer series paper!! Last year, when Stampin' Up! announced the Last Chance List, the retiring colours were SOLD out in 20 mins!!

Retiring 2014-2016 Incolours

I'm sorry for being MIA this last week. I think my crazy busy schedule from the last few weeks caught up to me and I just need to take the week to relax and chill. I'm so glad that I did that, as I now feel full of energy and ready to start my week!! The best part...we are on March Break this week!! We don't have much on the agenda which is kind of nice too!!

We are quickly approaching the time of year when Stampin' Up! announced it's retiring list in preparation for the new Annual Catalogue that starts in June. One thing that we know will sell out fast is the 2014-2016 Retiring Incolours. Last year, the retiring incolours were SOLD out by April 1st.

The reason I'm telling you is that I want to give you plenty of time to stock up on your favourite products before they leave. I want to make sure that you have time to protect your investment!! As soon as they announce the Last Chance List, these items will sell out quickly!! In fact, I noticed today that some of these colours are already on back order. One thing that I would make sure to stock up on is the re inkers for your inkpads as this is one way to protect your investment!!

The outgoing colours are: Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadows and Tangelo Twist.

Yesterday, I spent sometime creating thank you cards! I find that I don't have enough of these on hand. I thought it was the perfect way to show off the retiring incolours to you also!!

Each card is created with the Crumb Cake card stock, Whisper White card stock, Whisper White twine, 2014-2016 Ink pads,2014-2016 Markers and the 2014-2016 Designer Series Paper Pack. I used the Flowering Field stamp set for all my flowers. This is one of the sets that you can earn for FREE during Sale a Bration when you place a $60 order. My greetings came from the stamp sets Rose Wonder and Sunburst Sayings.

I will showcase each of the cards up close below. First starting with Tangelo Twist! I love the POP of colour on this card!!

Next up is Hello Honey. This card is reminds me of all the beautiful flowers in the garden!

Up next is Blackberry Bliss. I love the rich colour and will miss this colour when it's gone!!

 

Another colour that I will miss is Lost Lagoon. This colour is great when you want to add a soft touch to your project!!

The finally colour leaving us is Mossy Meadows. I love this rich colour and will miss it at Christmas time. I love it paired with Cherry Cobbler!!

Cottage Greeting Thank you

Happy Monday,

Happy Leap Day!!! Can you believe it that today is the last day of February? Where did the month go? All I know is that we are closer to spring and I can't wait for warmer temperatures!!

My project today is a CASE from my friend Dena over at The Creativity Cave. Dena showed this beautiful card using the Cottage Greeting stamp set and I knew it would be the perfect card for my Thank you stamp a stack class. Thanks Dena for the inspiration!!

One of my favourite parts about this card is stamping the greeting across the bottom. I think this adds a really cool element to the card, and can't wait to try it again on another project!

My other favourite part is using the fringe scissors to create a piece of grass for the label. Now it looks like the flowers are growing up from the grass!! What a brilliant idea!!

It's Wild Birthday Card

Wowzers, that was a crazy and wild winter storm that we had last night. First it started out as snow around 3:30 and then it switch to freezing rain around suppertime. The freezing rain continue until about 2 am this morning. It looks like a frozen winter wonderland outside!!

I was going through my pictures and notice that I didn't share a few with you. My project today is one that I made a few months ago using the It's Wild stamp set and the Watercolour Words stamp set.

 

The It's Wild stamp set is a background stamp set. These big background stamps come in either wood or clear. Personally I prefer the wood mount for my background stamps!!

Happy Birthday Everyone!

This week at Coffee and Cards our cards were all about birthdays. I don`t know about you but we have tons of birthdays in the month of December!! This stamp set has been on my wishlist for a while now and I finally decided it was time to order it! I think my favourite part about this stamp is the big birthday greeting!!
