Coffee Cups Merry Wishes Card

Hello,

It's an exiting day for us Demonstrator's!!! Today is the day that we can order from the new Holiday Catalogue. This new catty is filled to the brim with tons of fun and exciting new products. I can' wait to place my pre-order and get those new goodies in my hands to start playing with them!! 

Last week at our Christmas Stamp a Stack, we had fun creating this fun Rustic Card. I really want to create a card with the Coffee Cups Framelits. All I could think about was those fun Holiday cups we get from Tim Horton's or Starbucks during the Holiday Season!

I was looking for a greeting to put on the wrapper of my cup but none of my Christmas stamp would fit. Then I remember I had the Ribbon Of Courage stamp set, and knew that the "Sending Love and Hugs to you" would be a perfect fit for my card!!

I used the Coffee Cups Framelits, the Big Shot Machine and the Magnetic Platform to cut out my coffee cup from the Be Merry Designer Series Paper pack. This designer series paper is perfect for your Holiday Projects as it has the traditional colours of Real Red, Whisper White and Garden Green. 

Out of the cards that we made last week at class, this was their top pick as their favourite!! I always like to ask my stampers which one is their favourite from the night!

Christmas Cards!!

Happy Monday!!

Well, it sure is looking like Christmas around here these last few days! We had a snow storm that started late Saturday night and is still going on now!! I think we have over 15 cms which has just turned everything into winter wonderland. 

I spent yesterday working on my Christmas cards and I'm excited to say that they are all done and will be going in the mail today!!

Merry Christmas Card - My Hero Ronald McDonald Stamp Set

My card today is one that showcase the new Ronald McDonald stamp set called " My Hero". Each year Stampin' Up! features a special stamp set that helps support the Ronald McDonald House Charities across North America. My card is one that I created using a sketch that I saw online! I love using sketches as they are just a puzzle waiting to be solved!! Snowflake Card

Hello,

Yahoo, it's snowing and it's just feels more like the festival season!! I don't think we are going to get enough to cover the ground or to have a white Christmas but it sure is pretty to look at while I sip on some yummy hot chocolate!!

All these snowflakes made me think of this card that I made a few weeks ago. It used the snowflakes from the Holly Jolly Greeting stamp set.

Oh What Fun Christmas Tags

Hello,

I hope you are having a great day!! The count down is on...only 10 more sleeps till the big day. I'm so excited as all my wrapping is done for what I had so far. I just need to pick up a few more things and then I will be done. This makes me so happy as I'm WAY of head of the game then last year. But it also helps that I'm home this year and I have been able to get things done when I have been feeling better. I still get tired very easily and most afternoons I spent on the couch but it's a good way to rest my body so that it can heal.

One of the things that I did this year was used the Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit. This kit makes 30 tags, 3 each of 10 designs. And the best part is that it includes all the supplies you need to create the tags. I would suggest using the coordinating Oh, What Fun stamp set.

Winter Wonderland

Hello,

As you can see by my title, I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. I'm not sure that is going to happen as the temperatures are very mild and there is no chance of flurries till next week. We might have a light dusting of snow but I'm not counting on the long range forecast. This will be the second year in a row for a green Christmas and that makes me sad. I don't know about you but this time of year is more magical with snow on the ground.

My project today used the Wonderland stamp set. One of the reason I love this stamp set is because of the gorgeous tree's!!

I paired it with the stunning Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper. I'm not sure why I have not used more of this paper this season as it's gorgeous!!

Snowman Treat Bags

I hope you are having a great weekend. I can't believe that Christmas is only 12 days away? Are you ready? With being off this holiday season, I feel like I'm ahead of the game this year. I only have a few more gifts to pick up and I will start the wrapping process in the next few days. A few weeks ago, my mom asked me if I could make her something that she could give her coworkers at their Christmas Party. She knew that she wanted to do something with a chocolate bar, hot chocolate and candy canes. I thought we could make Snowman Soup.

I showed her a few idea's on Pinterest and then we came up with this one.

We used the retired favourite "Top Note Die" to create the Snowman face and hats.

Then add some circle punches for the eyes, a carrot nose and a mouth and you have the cutest snowman around!!

I can't wait to hear how my mom's co-workers like their snowman soup! Still looking for idea's as these would make great stocking stuffers, secret santa gifts, or as favours at a party!!

Jolly Snowman

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a great weekend. It was a nice and relaxing one around here. Corrie and Alison were in Whitby for a hockey tournament, they made it all the way to the semi's but lost in the semi-finals. Emily had to work all weekend and I spent some time in my studio stamping with new products. I'm participating in a new Occasions Swap and my swaps needed to be in the mail by this week. I'm excited to say that they are all done and will be mailed today. Yesterday, my co-workers stopped by for a visit along with my parents and in-laws. Yesterday was Corrie's and mine's birthday. Yes we share the same birthday, I'm only 11 hours older. We decided that we will celebrate our birthday with supper out once I'm feeling up to it and can eat more variety of foods.

My card today was one that I received as a swap from my down line Rebecca while we were at the Mississauga Onstage Event.

Isn't he the cutest snowman that you ever seen! He looks so Jolly and happy!! If you still have cards to send out for the holidays, this would make a great card to send!! Its sure to put a smile on your family and friends faces!!
