Witches Hat Treat Holder

Happy Halloween!!

I have another fun treat holder for you today!! This time I had to use the fun new Treat Tubes holders. These holders are the perfect way to package up a treat. There are so many different ways you can use these treat holders, if you need idea's I suggest you check out Pinterest. 

As I was creating this yummy treat holder filled with M&M's, I thought it would be fun to create a step by step collage for you incase you wanted to mass produce this for all those little trick or treaters!!!

As you can see these holders come together very quickly. The only problem would be if you snacked on the chocolate as you filled them, you might run out. LOL

Halloween Treat Holder

Happy Monday!!

Today I have a fun treat holder to share with you today! This is a simple holder that you could MASS produce very quickly if you wanted to hand them out to those little trick or treaters, co-workers, family or friends!! 

As I said "This little treat holder came together very quickly!" I used the Layering Square Collection Framelits, the Big Shot machine and the Magnetic Platform to cut out my Black Scallop Square and the Whisper White Square. 

I stamped the "A wicked yummy treat holder for you" in Pumpkin Pie onto my Whisper White Square. Then I stamped "Happy Halloween" in Memento Ink onto a piece of Whisper White scrap and added it to a Basic Black banner. I stamped the Spider Web from the Merry Cafe at the top in Memento Ink. 

I found these cute Twix Chocolate Bars at our local Dollar Store. I stapled the Chocolate Bar wrapped end to Scallop Square with a stapler and then added a Basic Black bow to finish off the treat holder!! 

I can't wait to make some of these for next holiday season! I actually saw some fun Chocolate Bars designs at our local dollar store. The next time I'm in there, I'm going to pick some up!!

Halloween Treat Holder

Cookie Cutter Halloween Treat Box

Hello,

It's been a few days since I last posted and I'm sorry for that! But, it has been crazy the last 4 weeks and I need a few days to catch up, just relax on the couch and most of take time some time for me! Plus we had a fabulous weekend as a family with Emily as she was home for Thanksgiving weekend. We really enjoyed our time together and I'm sad that we have to take her back to school tonight. But I know I will see her in a few weeks!! Yippee..I'm counting down the days!!

My project today is one that we made in our Cookie Cutter Halloween Treat holder class. I CASE this idea from Angie Juda over at Chic n Scratch. This super cute Treat box holder was part of her 12 weeks of Halloween!! This is the perfect size for chocolate to give to a family member or friend!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have to say that the Cookie Cutter Halloween is one of my favourite stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue. I think this stamp set and coordinating punch is a must in your collection and it's one of those stamp set that you will hold on to!!1

My project today is one that my downline Lisa made for me. I have been helping her out with her business and as a way of saying "Thank you" she created this fun Halloween Petite Cafe Bag filled with yummy "S more" popcorn mix!!! Happy Halloween! We are already here for the trick or treaters! Let's hope the rain holds off for them tonight!! I hope you have a great time with your family and don't forget to take pictures!!

My project today is one that I CASE from Brandi at the home office. While we were at Inspire, Create and Share, Brandi shared this fun project with us. She showed us how to take our Sketched Dots Tag a Bag gift bags and add some ink to create a fun Candy Corn treat bag!

Oh, I just love those spider web doilies!! I know they have been on backorder forever, but you can still use them after Halloween is done. Did you know that you can colour them using embossing powers, use them as stencils, colour the backside with ink and so much more.

Mojo Monday 420

Hello,

I had a chance to play along with last week's Mojo Monday 420 sketch and you know me,  I love sketches as they are a mystery just waiting to be solved, all you need to do is fine the missing pieces!! And those missing pieces are stamps, ink, and paper!!

Last week's sketch was designed by Julee and I love all the possibilities that you can do with this sketch!! It could be a birthday tag, a thank you tag, a Christmas tag or a Halloween tag and the list goes on!!!

I decided to use the tag feature to create a fun Halloween Card for Emily. My Emily loves everything that relates to the human body, she loves studying bones ( how they move, and how they work), and plans to do a medical career in the future. ( which by the way is closer then we think, we are just starting to explore university and different programs now for next year, this mama bear is not ready for this next stage in life)

I knew I wanted to use the Skull and bones from the Howl-o-ween Stamp set as my focal point on my tag. I stamped the images in memento ink onto very vanilla card stock and die cut them out using the Boo to you framelits and the big shot machine.

Of course I had to add a poison jar besides the skull. I stamped the Poison image from Sweet Haunting in memento ink onto a piece of very vanilla card stock. Using my tangelo twist ink and a blender pen, I coloured in my jar and then fussy cut it out, and then pop it onto my tag.

I really like this sketch and can't wait to create a few more projects with this it. Why don't you play along with us, I would love to see what you created!!

Howl-o-ween Gift Card

Happy Friday!

I hope you are having a great start to your weekend!! I had to admit that we have been so busy the last few weeks, that I have NOT stamped in a long time. I miss listening to music and stamping the afternoon away. I'm so looking forward to stamping this weekend and creating some "beauties" with my new goodies!!

As I was going through my pictures, I realized that I didn't show you this fun gift bag card that I made using the Howl-o-ween Treat stamp and the matching Boo to you framelits! I have to say "That this is my favourite Halloween bundle ever! I love the images and the best part is you can use those images for many different occasions!!"

And of course, I had to decorate the inside of my card....

I thought this might be fun to make for the girls, and include an Itune card and some chocolate for them. Now that the girls are older, they don't get dressed up anymore for Halloween and I have to say that I miss those days. But now they are there to help me hand out the candy or should I say " Eat the candy, LOL"

Halloween Treat Bags

Sorry for being MIA this week, I have been fighting a nasty cold. I thought it was in my chest and went to the doctor's but of course it's just a virus that needs to run it course! Slowing starting to feel better, but still taking it easy with lots of resting on the couch while I watch the baseball playoffs or hockey games.

My inspiration for my project today came from the Holiday Catalogue. You can find these fun treat holders on page 46 of the Holiday Catalogue.

Sweet Tricks for you:

• treat holders are made from the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper
• measurements are designer series paper : 2" by 8 1/2", score at 1/2", 4", and 5"
• decorated with the Spider Web Doilies
• stamp set is Sweet Haunting
• stamp images onto very vanilla card stock, and punch out with the Note Tag Punch. images are stamp with Tangelo Twist ink pad and Memento Ink pad
• add treats ( i used small chocolate bars, and then staple close with our stapler
• wrap Very Vanilla Thick Baker Twine around it and finish off with a bow!!
