Happy Monday!!

It's an exciting day around here as Emily comes home for 2 weeks. I can't wait to have her here and most of spend some time with together as a family!! I know the next 2 weeks will go by fast but we are going to enjoy the time together doing what we love the most..hanging out as a family watching movies, and of course watching the World Juniors!!

I have another gift certificate holder to show you today. This time my holder was made with Kraft Tag a Bags and the Jolly Friends stamp set and coordinating Jolly Friends Punch. I just love this moose from this set and had to use him on my bag!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tips on Creating this Gift Holder:

• Stamp snowflakes in Versamark so they take the colour of the kraft bag
• Jolly friends stamp set and punch work together so easily. Just stamp your hat image and punch out
• Stamp greeting with Mememto ink
• Stamp Moose on Kraft card stock with Early Espresso Ink
• Warmth and Cheer designer series paper is perfect for the warm feeling for this project

Merry Mice Gift Certificates!!

I had some fun on the weekend making up some Gift Certificate Holders. The Merry Mice stamp set was on my desk and I just couldn't resist those cute and adorable mice, so I had to create a holder with them on it. Now I did make 2 other samples and will be sharing those with you over the next few days!!

Tips on Creating my Merry Mice Holder:

• The gift holder is one of our Kraft Bags. They are the perfect way to package up a gift card!!!
• Add a special detail to your Kraft Bag, by embossing the bag with an embossing folder. I used the embossing folder Holly
• Fold Kraft bag 1/4 of the way down 
• Create a belly band by cutting a piece of Designer Series Paper 2 by 12. Fold in half, lay over your bag, and staple at the top of the pattern paper. This will create a belly band for holder. 
• Cut out a scallop circle with the Layering Circle Framelits, and the Big Shot machine. I used Real Red Card stock to make my scallop circle.
• Stamp the Mouse image on to a scrap piece of Whisper White with Black Archival Ink.
• Using the Stitched Shape Framelits and the Big Shot Machine, cut out a circle in Whisper White around your Mice image. 
• Using your markers: Crumb Cake, Real Red, Garden Green, Blushing Bride and Smokey Slate, colour in your Mouse. Attach to scallop circle and and some rhinestone. Pop onto your belly band
• Stamp your greeting in Black Memento ink and add to your holder

Merry Mice Christmas Cards

Hope you are having a great start to your weekend. It's been a good around here so far. I have spent the morning in my studio working on my to do list. Wanted to give you a little update on why my post have been hit and miss. I just switched to a new computer and it has been a little bit of a learning curve as I have gone from a PC to a Mac. I think I'm finally figuring it out and excited to finally get back to my regular posting!!

My project today used the sweet and adorable Merry Mice stamp set. I'm sad to said "that this set is on the Holiday Retiring list and will be leaving us when the Holiday catalogue is done in January. Candy Cane Christmas!!

Happy Monday!!

Hope you had a great weekend!! We had our first snow squalls yesterday and it sure put us in the festive mood. Alison and I spend sometime yesterday decorating our house for the holidays and I love how it turned out!! We still have to put up our tree but that will be in the next week!! I spent some time yesterday in my studio working on classes for Dec and I will be sharing those with you in the next few days!!

My project today is one that I CASE from the Holiday Catalogue that showcase the yummy Candy Cane Christmas stamp set and designer series paper. The designer series paper has been one of the top selling product from the Holiday Catalogue. I love the yummy colour combinations!!

Totally Tree's

Happy Monday!! 

We have been having a lot of sunny days here lately and I can't help to notice the beautiful fall colours that the tree's are showing off at this time of year. I love the gorgeous and vibrant colours of orange, red and golden that are show case in nature right now!!

My project today was inspired by the colours in the trees and I had to use one of my favourite stamp set from the Holiday catalogue called the "Totally Tree's" stamp set!!

The sunny has been shining here the last few days and I really have noticed the colours in the trees are so vibrant!! I love looking around and seeing all the beautiul colours of orange, yellow and red. 

When I was creating my project for today, I was inspired by the beautiful colours that nature is showing off these days!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I used my favourite stamp set called "Totally Trees". This is one of those stamp set that you want to have in your collection as you can use it for occasion or theme!! I paired it with the Moroccan Designer Series Paper which is perfect for this time of year!

Today my project is one that I made for our Christmas Display at the Western Fair. I was looking for some unique boxes for my display and came across this fun box that my friend Angie Juda made over on her Chic 'n' Scratch Blog.
