Stampin' Up! Mediterranean Cruise - Barcelona Day 1

Happy Monday!!

I finally feel like I'm catching up with the world! Wowzers, the jet-lag last week was crazy and most of the week I felt like I was walking around like a zombie!!

Emily and I had an AMAZING time on our Mediterranean Cruise and I can't wait to share it with you! It truly was a trip of a lifetime and I have my loyal customers and amazing downline to thank for making this dream come true!! Today I'm going to share highlights with you from Day 1 of our trip as we travel to Barcelona Spain and board the Norwegian Epic Cruise ship.

We were so excited for our adventure together!

The best thing about Incentive Trip is meeting your friends at the airport.

We were so excited to spend our week with Rose, Kevin and their daughter Amanda!!

When we landed in Barcelona, Stampin' Up! had arranged for bus transportation to the pier.

But because we arrived around 9am and couldn't board the ship till 12pm, they decided to

give us a tour of Barcelona City. This was once an arena that was now turn into a shopping center.

Just look at the detail on that building!!

One of the things that I loved while on the tour was seeing all the beautiful buildings!

Our bus driver had stopped at one look out spot so we could stretch,

grab a snack and check out this gorgeous view of Barcelona!!

We could also see our ship the Norwegian Epic sitting in dock!

Our home for the week!

Our room had a balcony! My favourite thing was sitting on the balcony and

listening to the waves crash against the boat!! Just being on the water was relaxing to the soul!!

The Norwegian Epic delivered some tasty desserts to our room as a welcome to their ship!! YUMMY!!

Our first visit to the Stampin' Up! Hospitality room. Stampin' Up! set up us this fabulous room,

so we could chat with Stampin' Up! Employees and Corporate Members, mingle with fellow demonstrators,

spin daily for prizes, check out the amazing displays and of course eat some chocolate while we were there!!

One of the highlights of our day was returning to our cabin each night to find a pillow gift waiting for us!

I forgot to take a picture of the inside, I was so excited!

Our gift for the night was a gorgeous Stampin' Up! hat that we could wear during the week and

tickets to the Cirque Dreams and Dinner Show for Monday night!!

After traveling and being up for almost 24 hours, let just say that Emily and I were exhausted and called it a night!! Tomorrow, I will be sharing highlights from our day at sea!!

MDS- Seattle

Happy Friday!!

I had so much fun MDSING last night! I finally had a chance to work on my Alaska album. I love that I can MDS while watching TV now!!

My inspiration for my page today came from a sketch that I saw in the summer issue of Scrapbooking and Cards Magazine. It was one of the page map sketches.

We loved Seattle..it's a beautiful city!! These are some of my favourite shots from Emerald City!!

Sneak Peak on new Products

Wow, we had huge storm roll through last night!! We actually lost power for about 2 hours.It was wild!

I'm excited to share my card with you today! This was one of the cards that we made during the Make and Take session while on cruise. I was so excited as we got some of the new Incolour Products.Trust me you are going to love them!!

The new Incolours for 2011 are Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder.  They are great colours!  We also used the new Pool Party DSP and a new stamp set called Sweets for the Sweets!

Recipe: Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Island Indigo and Tangerine Tango card stock, Pool Party DSP, Sweets for the Sweets stamp set, Game Spinners, Curly Cute stamp set, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Linen Thread, Lucky Limade, and Wisteria Wonder ink, and 1 3/4 punch.

Pinwheels are the lastest trend

I hope you are having a great day!! It's a PD Day around here, so we are just hanging out! The girls and I are enjoying the downtime. I'm so looking forward to spending some time in my studio this weekend, I can't wait to show you some new goodies!!

I have notice lately that the latest trend is Pinwheels. I saw this super cute card on one of the display board in the Trading Post room on the cruise. I can't wait to make some of these!!

The Open Sea

Hello,

Did you get a chance to check out the retiring lists?? There are lots of things retiring!! Some of them I'm sad to see go but others I'm glad they are finally retiring!!

I have had a few questions about the 12 by 12 card stock. They are not getting rid of them, they are redesigning the packing. So now you will get a full package of smooth card stock instead of 6 smooth and 6 texture. I think this is a great idea!!

I'm still trying to get caught up, so I thought I would share a few photo's with you!! These are more samples in the Trading Post room!! I love all the samples done with the Open Sea stamp set. You can find this stamp set in the Summer Mini.

I'm not sure who made this card as there was no names on them...but this is beautiful!! Did you know that the Spiral Punch is retiring!! You will want to order that before it's gone for good!!

I'm so looking forward to seeing all the ladies tonight at my Open Sea class!!

I'm still trying to play catch up and thought I would share some samples with you from the sample boards from the Trading Post room. Demonstrator's were encourage to bring projects to share with others.

MDS Page- Detroit Airport

Happy Monday!!

Boy, were we feeling the time change this morning!! We didn't want to get up but we had to as it's back to work and school for everyone!!!

I had a chance last night to start working on my album for Alaska. I decided to make an 8 1/2 by 11 this time as I really like the simplicity of it!! Plus I was inspired by my fellow demonstrator's on cruise. We actually had a morning where we MDS together. Since, I don't have a laptop, I went to watch and learn from others. I have to tell you that I learned some really cool tricks and I can't wait to share them with you!! One of them was how to use the Spiral punch on a page.

I'm not sure if I told you or not, but this was the first time my girls have flown in an airplane. They were so excited as we sat waiting to board the plane in Detroit.

Back from Stampin' Up! Cruise to Alaska!!!

Hello,

We are home from our week long Stampin' Up! Cruise to Alaska!! I can't thank you enough as this was the trip of a lifetime!! Last year, I earned the Incentive Trip from Stampin' Up and last week it finally arrived!! There is nothing better then travelling Stampin' Up style!! There was lots of pampering going on from amazing pillow gifts each night, fun little treats, sneak peeks and so much more. I can't wait to share those all with you soon!!!

I thought I would share some photo's with you of our first day in Seattle on the Cruise Ship!!

We are leaving port in Seattle. That is the Space Needle behind us!!

Here is a picture of our Cruise Ship from our hotel window!! This is what we saw when Emily open the curtains. The girls were so excited.

I will be sharing more photo's and samples with you in the next week. Somethings I can't show till after June 1st!! Trust me you are going to love them!!
