This and That Retro Fresh New Look!!

Hello,

Thank you for all the sweet comments on my new blog designed. I paired up with my amazing talented friend and fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Martha Inchley to create a clean and simple look using the new Retro Fresh Downloads.

Martha did an amazing job and I'm so excited to share her talent with you. I think she might have just found her next job...designing blogs!! I had ask Martha to create the blog header, buttons, title headers and a post signature. She also created a "Stamp with Anne" base for my weekly colour challenges, which you should see this Wednesday.

Once she had all of the components in place and just the way we liked them, she played around with the settings of my blog and coordinated the font colours, lines and backgrounds.

I have included a close up of all the images that Martha had created for me!!  Thanks again Martha, I love my blog design!! So Fresh, clean and simple!!

MDS Fall Layout!

MDS Back to School Layout

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a great weekend. Corrie and the girls were away all weekend for a hockey tournament in St. Catherine's and Alison's team came home with a silver medal!! I spent the weekend at home just chillin. I have been so busy lately, that I need a weekend of doing nothing. I'm happy to say that is just what my body need some little R&R!!

Well, I was home this weekend chillin, I actually did some Digital Scrapbooking. I'm happy to say that I was able to create some layouts and can't wait to share them with you!!

My page today was inspire by a layout that my friend Kimberly did. She actually used hers for a Fall layout but I switched up the elements to create a back to school page.

MDS- Birthday Layout

Hello,

While I was at the crop on the weekend, I had a chance to do some MDSing. I was looking for some inspiration so I headed to Pinterest to look for some scrapbook layout sketches. I came across one that I really liked and started to create!

The one thing that drew me to this sketch was the all the Hexagons and how it was filled with different colours of pattern paper.

MDS Chocolate Bar Holder

A few weeks ago, a few of my friends and I got together for an afternoon of stampin! We decided it would be fun to do a Shoebox swap and dinner. My friend Marja hosted this month and did a fabulous job. When we sat down in her beautiful studio she had gift bags waiting for all us at our spots! Inside the gift bag was a chocolate bar decorated inside this beautiful holder. She created the label in My Digital Studio and then adhere it to card stock to create this fabulous gift!

Sorry for the glare on the photo, it wouldn't allow me to capture a close up photo!

I must remind myself to use MDS more for fun gift idea's like these!!

MDS - Top 5 Favourites

Today is the day that we all head back to school! The girls and I are having mixed emotions right now, we are happy but sad at the sad time!! I know that once we get there we will be fine!!

I had a chance last night to play along with this week's MDS challenge with Heather and Kimberly. I really liked this challenge and thought I would give it a try!! The challenge was to list your top 5 favourites in a variety of categories!!

MDS-Weekly Menu

Hello,

Wow, I can't believe that we have one week left of Summer holidays, and that we start back to school next week! I know that the girls are excited to see their friends and meet their new teachers and me on the other hand really wishes I could stay home full time! I know once I get there I will be fine it's just hard going back after being home for two months.

With the start of school also brings Hockey for us and yes we are on the ice 4 times next week, so that means the CRAZINESS starts. 

My post today was inspired by my friend Mary Beth. We were texting back and forth yesterday afternoon, and she was telling me she was planning her meals for the month of September. We chatted about this for a bit and I was inspired to create this Weekly Menu so that hopefully I can stay on track when it gets crazy around here.

So I spent some time yesterday creating this weekly menu in MDS. I have printed off a few of these and over the next few days will fill in my meals for the month of September. So if you have any fabulous must try recipes, I would love for you to share them with me!!

Stampin' Up! Convention Presentation and MDS Thank You Card

Happy Monday!

The other day when I went to the mailbox, I was excited to see a stamped envelope in the pile. I couldn't wait to open it and see who it was from!!

I was very surprised and happy at the same time as it was a Thank you card from Emily Montoya from Stampin' Up! Emily had asked me to help her out at Convention with her class "Converting Contacts to Customers". I was honour to be asked and so couldn't wait to get started!!

First we had an interview over the phone, where Emily asked me tons of questions and then we follow up with emails. Then Emily asked if I would be interested in doing 4 short videos about my business and how I convert those contacts into customers. This was a learning curve for me and I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone!

While at Convention, I had to check out the class to see the final results. It was the first class of the day and Emily knew that I was in the audience. So she had me stand up so all the other demonstrator's could see me. Then she started her presentation, and went to roll her first video and it didn't work. WHAT?? She tried again a few times and then ask the crowd if I should come up to the stage. I was like "NO way" but my friends and the crowd changed my mind. I couldn't believe it I was on stage at Convention with Emily!! She asked me a few questions and I answered them. My friends said " I did a great job but they didn't know how much I was shaking up there!!

I really enjoyed my day of fame and thank you to all the demonstrator's and Stampin' Up! Employee's that came up to me after to say "Thank you, words of encouragement or just to ask me questions!!

Emily and I will be doing a Webniar next Tuesday Aug 27 at 1pm, if you are interested you can register on the Demonstrator website!!We would love to have you join us!!

Emily's card was made in My Digital Studio. I love that you can use this program for so much more then just scrapbooking!!

MDS Beach Bum Layout

Hello,

I was having a lazy day yesterday and decided it was a good time to start playing again with My Digital Studio software program. I have so much to catch up on that I decide if I do at least one page a day, that hopefully I will complete some albums. Oh I really need to take some more everyday photos of my family too.

MDS- Cottage Wall Art

Well, we are slowly getting back into the swing of things here at home. But I have to tell you that we all still wish we were up at the Cottage.

Our friend's Ellen and Guy just bought the cottage last year and have been working like crazy to make it their own and I have to tell you it's beautiful!!

I have to share with you the fun Wall Art Collage that Ellen made in My Digital Studio to hang in her cottage. So she first started with a page in MDS and create a variety of phrases that makes Cottage life so much fun!! Then she had it printed at a local store to a big collage print and has it hanging in her entrance into the cottage!!

Oh, don't forget today is Download Day! I wonder what fun and exciting new thingsthey have out for us today!!
