Lovely as a Tree Birthday Card

Happy Monday!

Did you know that you can use your framelits as stencils? I love when you find new ways of using your tool other then what they are intended for. One of the new class series that I have added to my monthly schedule is a Framelit Frenzy class. Each month we create two cards using framlits as stencils and each customer goes home with a stencil template to add to their key ring!

This month we focus on the circle framelits, as there is so much you can do with this set. The first thing that came to mind is to use the circle framelit as a template for a moon. Of course, I had to pair the Lovely as a tree stamp set with it!!

 

I'm sad to say that the Circle Framelits and the Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper are both on the retiring list and will be leaving us at the end of May. I'm sad about the framelits leaving as I used them a lot on my projects!!. You can view all the products leaving us here! Remember these are while supplies last and some items are already sold out!!

This stamp set has been on my wishlist for a long time and it's one of those that you will want in your collection. Why you ask? Because it's the perfect stamp set for any occasion and its great way to celebrate all the men in our lives!!

I was so excited to see that this stamp set will be carryover into the new 2015 Annual Catalogue. Yep, you are right...as soon as I saw that I just had to order it!! LOL

Happy Mother's Day! I hope you have a fabulous day with your family!! Not sure what we have plan here today, but I know it will be a fun day filled with memories.

My project today was a CASE from my good friend Allison. Allison loves to watercolour and when I saw this card, I knew I had to recreate for my Coffee and Cards this past week!! Thanks Allison the ladies loved it!!

All you need to recreate this card is an aqua painter and watercolour paper!! So why not give it a try!!

I have to say that this is one of my favourite bundles from the Occasions Mini. My project today was one that I CASE from my friend Christine. She shared this card with me and I couldn't wait to recreate it!!!

I think my favourite part on this card is the colours, I love the combo of Crisp Canteloupe and Basic Grey!!

Love is Kindness

Hello,

Sorry for the MIA the last few days. We were in Toronto for Provincials weekend. Provincials is like the Stanley Cup for girls hockey. Alison's team was 1 of 24 teams in her Bantam BB division. They said there was over 500 teams and over 11,000 hockey players this weekend. It's amazing to see how BIG girl's hockey is!!

Alison's team made it to the elimination around but end up losing after a hard fight. We ended up coming home last night instead of staying another night in the hotel. I'm really proud of her and her team...they had an amazing season!!

On to the reason you stopped by today...my card today is one that we made a few weeks ago in my Coffee and Cards class. We focused on the Love is Kindness stamp set. I used my blender pens and my ink pads to colour in the flowers.

One of my favourite embellishments to use on cards is Designer Series Paper. I love how the Typeset DSP adds character to this card!! Remember to stock up on your favourie Designer Series Paper before they retired at the end of the catalogue!!

The new Basket die is a must in your die collection. I love using the basket die to create these fun baskets for the girls for their chocolate bunnies and eggs!!
