My Paper Pumpkin monthly kit arrived last week and it perfect to way celebrate the holiday celebrations this week. This kit was all about PINWHEELS! Yes you received all the supplies to create 24 pinwheels. I have seen Pinwheels used on cards, scrapbook pages, cards, and treat holders.

I wanted to share the video from Stampin`Up! that showcases this fabulous kit!!

 

When I saw the Pinwheel kit, I thought it would be fun to create some Treat Holders to celebrate Canada's Day!! I used our ``1 x8`` Cello Bags and filled them with Licorice Candy.  Then I topped them with the Pinwheels.

The count down is on..we are on the home stretch as there is only 4 days left of school!! The girls and I can't wait for the lazy days of summer!!

I was telling you last week that I was working on completing my paper pumpkin kits. I finally got around to putting together my April Frame it kit. I really liked the frame and decided it would create a great frame for summer!! I wanted to showcase the new Incolours and decided to use my two favourite colours Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss!!

Paper Pumpkin- Aug Kit

Thanks for the sweet comments yesterday on my video. I'm having fun and I do have more to share with you in the next few weeks. Yesterday, I told you that I was going to share a card that I made using the supplies from my August Paper Pumpkin kit and how I stepped it up.

I love using sketches as they help me think outside my creative zone. I saw this really cool sketch over at Hand Stamped Sentiments and thought I would give it a try. Now I used the basic sketch design to create my card!!
